Which version of minecraft is the F13 server currently running?  I backed up my last 1.7 version, in case I would need it again.  I never finished running around looking at stuff there.  Bzalthek's castle is amazing.

Very different when you can't skip over night, so creepers end up all over the place. I paddled out to a little mountain to set up camp and at the small mountain top were two creepers. Tried to knock em off, but one blew up and knocked the other one back into my spiral staircase

I don't even pay attention to the day/night cycle anymore, the new jump attack and sprint attack and how bows kill stuff in 2 shots... just murder them!

You must have your brightness cranked up much higher than me.   I SUPPOSE now that it is on a slider I could push it up, but that feels cheaty.  Plus I wouldn't have had that awesome experience of falling in a 40-deep canyon while blundering around at night and landing in a pool at the bottom.

I've found that even the slightest bit of server lag will cause creepers to explode, even if you appear to be long gone away from them. It's why I almost always take them out with nothing but arrows.

Which is kind of hard to do since no fucking chickens respawn arblegarble.

You can breed chickens, as when you throw an egg, there is a 1 in 8 chance it spawns chicken(s).  It takes a while to get up to critical mass, though.

My in game setting is at MOODY, you're just blind and possibly dumb.


Koro, this is why all of my Minecraft civilization is centered around the Holy Skeleton Spawner Farm.

I've actually been one-shot by a creeper on Normal through a full set of iron armor. It sucked, and destroyed half the suit. It's why I generally play on Easy in SP: mobs can still kill you if you get swarmed, but Creepers can't one-shot you out of the blue.

I have never been one-shot while in iron armor, that wasn't just one creeper is my guess.

If that screenshot MrBloodworth posted is what happens with animal breeding, it looks like it might need to be toned down a tad.

Will 1.9 necessitate new worlds again?  Or will 1.8 worlds suffice?

I have a Double Spider spawner I need to convert, I'm still figuring out the best design for that.

I haven't gotten any decent screenshots of this, but yesterday I witnessed one of those horrible sad things that nature does...

While building a bridge through a large cavern under the sea, I noticed waterfalls from the ocean above... that had carried giant squid down through the holes... that were now beached on piles of rock and minerals far below.

Because they're fucking idiots, that's why.

Though I will say that cave spider spawners can go straight to hell. Torching them doesn't quite work since they spawn spiders in a large radius around the spawner, so when I find an abandoned mine I tend to destroy all but one cave spider spawner to reduce the amount of spiders that can zerg me.
