What the FUCK. It kept telling me there was an error logging in so I uninstalled and began reinstallation. It got to 33% and froze... again and again. In the "Installing 'x'" bar it says a bunch of gobbledygook that is completely different from normal, a ton of numbers and letters with no words at all. Also posting in the WoW.com forums, does anybody know wtf is going wrong?

Settle down, Bevis.

Have you tried, their forums?  Not to be a dick, but I think you're thinking we're something we're not.  We most definitely are not.

I also posted this in the WoW.com forums, like I said. There just seemed to be some technologically savvy people here, thought someone might've a) seen this before or b) just known enough to deal with it.

I had this problem a couple years ago, turns out i had a bad stick of ram that I wasn't aware of, and WoW doesn't like installing with that problem.

Google up a mem/ram tester and see.

Same problem hit me once. The WoW installer is unintentionally the best RAM tester ever.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

How annoying. Why could it install the first time, but not after I uninstalled...

Thanks though, I'll check out that tester.

Check you're running the launcher as admin too, and maybe in compatibility mode. I have had problems with the beta launcher/installer on 64bit win7 of this nature.

I'm on a pretty old mac that actually doesn't meet system requirements, but I did succeed in installing and playing a few weeks ago.
