Personally, I think memorial threads are a waste of time, especially around here. Not everyone cares about the same people and it's hard for people on this board to keep quiet about their views. That's guarenteed to piss some people off. As touching as I'm sure you think my post is, I'll stop fagging up your lovely thread about some old dead guy that I'd take odds on most of you under 50's never bothered to watch.

Well, useless or not they are a part of this community. How about if one of us died and then angry.bob chimes in with "good, glad the fucker's dead. Here's one of his dumbass posts!". Whether we know them or not, I think it's just tasteful to show a certain amount of class in a post dedicated to someone's passing. People are more than welcome to make a "thank god that motherfucker is dead!" thread if they so choose, but if someone starts a memorial thread on a somber note, just keep it classy. That's not too much to ask, is it?
On another note, hey, thanks for another post telling us how much we suck and the threads here lately have sucked, Signe. /sigh
