Shattered Horizon is Futuremark's zero-g shooter. I hear it's good and with the recent addition content it's actually quite entertaining. It only costs $7.50 each if I can muster up 3 other people to get the 4 pack.

This is a game I really wanted to play, but I don't think my laptop's video card can run DX10.

Edit: Or maybe I'm a huge asshole - dxdiag says I've got DX11 installed.

That doesn't mean anything. If you're running WinXP, you don't run DX10 or above.
I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Oh? Well I just went on a whim and grabbed it for 9 bucks anyway. Works fine, but I'm not very good at it!

Ya, I played the demo a bit this Friday. I don't think its for me. I'm not the best at shooters in the first place, and the entire lack of any indication that you're actually hitting your opponent unless you kill him discouraged me a bit. That, and getting a bit sea sick. Not bad for 20 bucks, I suppose.
