Its a small thing and mostly neckbready tabletop, pnp and mini stuff but since we do have a fairly decent sized bay area contingent and I've just decided to go tomorrow to check out either Monsterpocalypse or the newish Warhammer CCG I thought I'd send a ping out and see if anyone else was gonna be there.

On a related note if anyone has played either game and thinks it sucks that might sway my decision I can only check out one or the other since they happen to, go fucking figure, be at the exact same time.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

I've never been, but the D&D sessions tempt me.   I see they have a lottery system -- what odds would I have of actually getting to play?

I've been in the past but I'm not going this year, and I've never done their RPG stuff so I couldn't help you there.

What I can tell you about MonPoc is it is a pretty expensive habit, I have a couple friends who tried it out and gave it pretty good gameplay reviews, but it is not cheap to collect at all. Big in Japan apparently. Don't know anything about the WH CCG.
