** Meditate now ticks every .5 seconds down from 1 second.

* Added a new sound to Heartseeker Spear.

Otherwise, nothing but boring for me.

Malphite and Yi Attack range buffs are nice though, move speed for Malphite is huge.

Buffs for Amumu look nice, though I'm not crazy about the %damage nerf to Despair.  Right now, it's used for killing tanks and other high HP targets, and it's not exactly quick at it.  It's being nerfed to do a bit more damage to lower HP targets (presumably to help with farming minions) but less to tanks, making it even more useless for killing tanks and still not that great for anything else.  Tantrum changes look good, though.

I am liking the change that prohibits Panth from casting summoner spells while falling.  Skyfall + exhaust was frustrating for me.

Changing Veigar's ult seems kind of like a cop-out to me.  He's a counter to casters, and countered by non-mana champs.  Changing it so that he's a better counter to non-mana champs seems to kind of miss the point (hint: if you're throwing Primordial Burst at Shen, you're doing it wrong).  This does nothing to counter the problems Veigar has.

Reverting Leviathan seems weird to me, too.  I guess it's due to the improved assist system, but it seems like the item is back to useless.

Other than that, nothing really interesting so far.

Edit:  I'm hearing that the Flash spell is being replaced by an activateable item (boots), though...  That would be kind of a big deal 0_o

Malphite finally getting a tiny boost is nice, I do enjoy playing him despite his ugly tiny stupid head.

Fairly basic patch, no buff to Kennen is the only thing that I find surprising.

Thread was updated today with some new stuff.

Minor nerfs to Shen across the board, Ezreal's heal nerfed by 30%.  Both characters I like.  Boo.

Gangplank got a new buff: '* Added "Yarr! I'm a mighty Pirate!" buff.'  More pirate champs incoming, maybe?

Edit: also, they removed Veigar's buff.

He's not that bad either...still better than Yi (until the patch at least).

Best patch ever, can't even make a practice game to try out the new champ.  Just get unable to connect errors when the game is launching.

Works fine for me.

So far, seems like kind of a non-event.  New champ was introduced, but not many people I'm seeing are playing as her for some reason. 

Gentleman Cho'Gath is awesome, but $15 for a joke skin is a bit much.

Changes on Amumu are almost unnoticeable.  Changes on Shen are almost unnoticeable.  Ezreal is noticeably weaker, but plays the exact same.

The Yi changes won't be enough to make him not bad still.  Still just a mostly glass cannon melee character.

My quick two cents early opinion on the new champion, I've won a few games with her, lost a few games with her.  She is really strong early lane as she can burst out a lot of damage at low levels.  But the later the game goes the worse she gets as she's so easy to shut down and kill.  She's almost like a bad Shaco in a lot of ways.  Although if you are losing a fight to her you will never escape, she will always catch you.  Ohhhhh, I see.

The obvious build for her seems to be something along the lines of Sheen>Boots>Guinsoo's.  Could go Trinity force or Lichbane probably.

I've gotten pretty good with her, I usually go sword of dmg pwn-ness with more kills (forget what it's called), then sheen, then depends on how we're doing...if I'm continuing to get assassin kills, I'll go to trinity force, if not, then I'll get some life steal, bloodthirster, etc.

Basically, if I get jumped, and I have lifesteal, that opening salvo of her Q ability and a hit, then whirlwind gets back any life I lost usually (assuming it wasn't a stun, but that's why you take cleanse on her) then pop W to hide in if you need a getaway, and/or just pop Q again to destroy them.

Some interesting stuff on the TR at the moment:
  • A new, unannounced hero: Al'Zahar, The Prophet of the Void (sounds like a caster/debuffer with a pet)
  • Some serious buffs for Teemo
  • Ashe's E skill (Plentiful Bounty) reworked, turned into a Clairvoyance type scouting ability
  • Armor penetration and magic resistance penetration reworked, now all penetration is a percentage rather than a flat value
  • Three new items, two of which have +spell vamp
