I love you guys like I love love itself.

Also, just to help turn this cozy love-in thread into a pedantic hatefest: this is an LtM splinter site.  The fact that cozy love-in threads frequently turn into pedantic hatefests here is strong evidence of this fact.

This post makes me want to squeeze into my badass red jeans.

Did I miss a full moon or something?

It would take an amazing mind to believe this is not at least in part a LtM spinoff. The community for instance is mostly either from LtM originally or from a LtM spinoff. And corp is a LtM spinoff. You can argue it wasn't originally, but it became one in its current incarnation when the community split.

btw, I love you guys too. This is currently the only online community I'm a real part in. I've treid other places that specialise in certain things but it just isn't the same.

To show my love, I have changed Derelict to Foozle. It was "random_npc_001" for about 3 minutes, but that was a bit cumbersome.

You only get experience by whacking foozles of your same level.

There's not enough content at my level. Everyone else is either too n00b or too catass for me to gain experience from. I count 2 people my level, that is clearly not enough. You need to put in some random mobs for my level so I can grind up to the others.

It's the New Year and it really is time to put our differences aside and resolve to be better people.  It's the Paelos thing to do.

I love you, Boog.

Funny how much the torch that Lum tossed aside gets thrown about with passion still today.

I appreciate the candor and humor that everyone here seems to spill on the floor.  The place reminds me of the conversations I would have at the punk bar in college before the band hit the stage and the music became to loud to think.

Under the homage to furniture that seems to be going on around here, I think I am the table lamp that gets left unplugged.

I'm fun, good at games, but only around socially on special occasions. The rest of the time I'm holed up somewhere alone.

And this is where you stop. A bunch of people read ltm. Good for you. You have nothing to do with ltm. You were not part of what made ltm. You are a Waterthread splinter site. Which was a P2P splinter site. Which you could call a SND spliter site, but SND was well and truly dead before it came out and neither Bob nor Angel had much to do with SND. After a certain point you have to accept that you've moved beyond the past chief. Now, the Morlocks? Lum was actually still writing about game news when they made their little community in a community. You people? Have no history.

I don't remember most of you bastards. Half your staff didn't know who lum was when they started.

You are a ltm splinter site....because you say so?

And I'm sorry, but you can't retroactively make someone a legacy site. Corp was there first, it was always updated, the fact when Waterthread went tits up it seemed like the only option for some people doesn't magically make us the next link in a glorious chain leading back to lum.

Enough  Boog. Get off this tangent, NOW. We are what we are and that is all that we are. We are Popeye. We do our thing, you do yours. That should be enough. This corp/f13 shit ends NOW.

Maybe we could a family tree starting with Ltm to the splinter sites. Then we could all hold hands and sing songs.

No we don't. All this splinter site talk is nonsense and goes nowhere. Lum's site was what it was and its time has passed. f13.net is its own beast now as is corpnews.

I can't remember a person in the community worth an insta-ban after an abscence. Really, it seems that certain people start off ok then slowly devolve into ban-worthy over time. It's also highly amusing to watch the slow march towards a bannage pattern that some have.

I was wondering, would Boog die if we all showed him kindness, like some demon of hate from fantasy? Not that I have anything against Boog personally, but comeon, that would be so cool.

I'm completly indifferent to most of you. Which works out well, since I'm sure I'm off all your radars as well.

Though this recent round of avatar changes had me all confused.  I'm completly blown as to who's who now that Soukyan has lost the Alizee.

A sad day indeed. I'm just flagrantly trying for a title other than Foozle. Alizee (god bless her sexy little hind end) shall return Soon™. ;)
