I passed on X-Com way back when and think I still will, just not my type of game. Still a killer deal. And you'll have a tough time not getting 1 dollar's worth out of each Freedom Force game.

Freedom Force sucks balls is slow boring as fuck and possibly the worst fps I've ever played.  The campy shit isn't even good campy is crap.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Maybe he is saying he gets a bad FPS rate or something (I haven't experienced anything like that)?

Having said that, I got Freedom Force on another steam sale just to try it out.  I played it a bit and got very bored fast.  Haven't touched it since.  So I do agree with him on that.

I also got the X-Com deal the last time it came though, and that was way worth it.  God I love that game.  At $2 for the bundle there is no reason not to buy it.  Even if you don't own a computer.

Don't mind Hoax. It's not his fault he is a broken incomplete shell of a human being.

I grabbed both just to get the Steam versions, X-Com for modern installs and FF for lack of Starforce. $4? Amazing deal.

I'm itchin' for a tussle!

I'm probably going to grab at least FF for the netbook. I can see that being some good portable fun.

I was drinking when I wrote this, so sue me if it goes astray.
