I don't mind soloing and relying on my own for lefeling (always have, always will). But it does seem pointless to level up in a game where ultimately there is no active guild or grouping going on to look forward to (and the high-level content thing as well).

Does anyone belong to a decent guild on one of the servers, or have an opinion on which server is best?

Does (or did) f13 ever have a real guild in EQ2?

Has f13 ever had a real guild outside of Eve?

I'm what passes for the GM for f13 on EQ2 on Oasis. But if you find soloing pointless, you probably don't want to talk to me. I'm a journey kind of guy, the destination I find unpalatable.

Plenty of raider types to give you advice, but you did ask about f13's guild :)

Yeahy, I'm actually a journey guy too, except I kind of consider raid/group high-end content sort of the final part of the journey. But I don't tend to settle in for months on the same battles once I've seen/done them once or twice.

I mainly just get annoyed at large (and often the most elaborate) parts of a game I can never get to see.

Thanks for info. I'll manage on any server (picking busiest ones again I guess), I just thoguht I'd ask since I wasn't around f13 when EQ2 had its more populous days.

I run with Bloodlust on Oasis. Good guild, great raid potential.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

When I get back into playing EQ2 (I'm subbed  Ohhhhh, I see. to it and lotro and playing neither), I should hook my wizard up with you guys if you need dps. I don't mind sitting in on the occasional raid if I have time.

I still play EQ2 regularly, but I was never with the F13 crowd.  I'm in the guild Safe Haven over on Antonia Bayle.  we're a decent sized guild, great people and players online at anyone point jumps up and down.  Some people are addicts, some are casuals, and most are in between.  We don't raid but the alliance we're in is solid.  People can raid with them or not as they please (I'm kind of just starting to get into raiding).  I tend to spend the majority of my time decorating our guild hall (glad the GLs like me) and various houses for alts and other folks.

Absolutely!  I ran that maze several times to get the hedge seeds, and had guildies donate some to me when I needed a few more.  Heart my guildies.

Maybe I'll completely carebear out and post links to my decorating threads once I get them up posted on the Homeshow forum.
