I put the 'shill' in 'cockmonkey'.

From the same quirky couple that brought you Observe and Report  today we bring you Margot At The Wedding!!!1!

So my wife seems to have the distinct ability to pick movies with seemingly decent actors, who for some reason have agreed to make the most gawd awful tripe to ever plaque the eyes of man.
The sole reason you should ever watch this movie is if you are from a family like say the Brady Bunch or the Cleavers (Beaver's family) and want to know what all this fuss is about when people mention "dysfunctional families."

Thats it. As bad as Observe and Report was we watched the whole thing hoping for it to get better. We couldnt even do that with this one. We made it about 30-45 mins in. Its nothing more than scene after unfunny soul sucking scene of really really bad acting trying to portray dysfunctional familial relationships.

Now I know what you are saying to yourself..."Its got Jack Black in it! And I love that fat hairy guy! Even High School Rock redeemed itself due to his gawd like comedic talents."  Sadly, I understand where you are coming from. But dont be fooled. Dont go into the light. In fact this movie is so bad Im almost certain that the Jack Black in the movie isnt the real Jack Black. I think its a look a like Jack Black thetan controlled by Scientologists.

Anyway, you have been warned.

I may be going against the grain, but I just do not find Jack Black to be funny.  There was one funny line out of him in Tropic Thunder, and any funny he had in Be Kind, Rewind, or High Fidelity was due to the actors around him.  Year One, I won't admit to seeing.

He's still coasting off Tenacious D.  They were pretty funny for awhile.

As Ron Jeremy is to porn, Jack Black is to comedy. You dont understand it, it just is.
