No pic handy, but I picked up my first Eridan - a sniper rifle with "I feel like I'm going to break it" or something similar. It's only 174 damage and fires 5 shots before recharge, but it's pure lightning damage and applies a lightning dot every time.

My favorite right now though is a Scattergun with "drop the Hammer" and x3 explosive.

Wow, do the quests! I'm level 24 and (iirc) I have a lvl2 exploding, lvl 1 fire, lvl 2 shock, and some new lvl 2 I just got last night I can't remember. Once you equip them, they show up in the diamond by the Turret skill on your skill page. Click it to select between the different mods you have for the turret. Do want a corrosive mod!

You should get a corrosive mod iirc from the collect quest where King Wee Wee is. Corrosive turret was good, shock I think was a little better, but I went CR, so your mileage may vary.

My version of the Thantos:

This one is outdated now but I think scoped revolvers are some of my favorite weapons in the game.  This one lasted me quite a few levels.

I picked up an Orange Rocket Launcher last night that fires 4 rockets at once.  Then, as they travel, each rocket splits into more rockets so that once they hit it's like a half acre of napalm.

I got the madjack, used it a little bit, sold it to the vendor.  Sure, it did lots of damage but it also took 4 or 5 shots to hit anything.

Poor, neglected thread:

Dear lord it actually has a 6 shot wheel. I am so getting tired of the 2-3 shot orange caustics I been farming.

I just found out the Hellfire smgs do their elemental effect every time, which will save me 5 skill points. Even at 50 I've found nothing better for a smg siren.

I hit 32 last night and I am still using all the same weapons I was using at 22.  It's a little frustrating to not ever seem to find anything I want to use.

Yeah, I've had the same loadout for a while. I should post my most recent sniper rifle, but the level 30ish stuff pales compared to Lant's pimp gear.

Yeah, I had a lvl 19 blue Auto Pistol that I used for the entire last 3rd of the game.  Just couldn't be beat.

On my any gun Hunter I'm having the opposite problem.  I'm constantly going with 4 shotguns or 4 pistols to audition them and try to get rid of stuff.  I've got a fuckton of ss's for the gun thread but I want to mass crop the gray out of the png's and I've been too lazy to get around to it.

I had that problem until about midway through my second play through.  There were a couple of points where I had nice guns, but very few truly awesome ones.  My SMGs were extremely lacking until I came across a Double Anarchy (x4 damage) in my 30s.

One of the problems I had with the gun UI was that I never understood what the x1 - x4 multiplier on Elemental damage was. It wasn't explicitly explained, as far as I could tell.

Adding some of the better ones I've come across  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

The sniper is the weapon of choice, even if I'm a soldier. Pele demands a sacrifice creates an AE at the point of impact which spreads 100% of the dmg as well as the dot. The Hellfire is nice for close quarters, and the desert raven is for mid range, 2 extra bullets per burst really do makes a huge difference, especially when you're a soldier with almost perfect accuracy and tons of bonus damage and recoil reduction. The shield was found in a shop, highest rating I've seen so far, and the very slow health regen is enough to keep you in tip top shape.

I don't know the exact amount it provides, however a higher multiplier provides higher elemental damage, both for the initial hit and for any DoTs which manage to be applied.

Elemental weapons have an additional line about 'High Chance', 'Very High Chance', or a red text such as you see on two of Sairon's weapons ('Pele demands a sacrifice', 'We don't need no water...').  Red text means the DoT is always applied.  The others have decreasing frequency, which is where the Siren's chance of elemental effect power and mod come in useful.

Same. Though I have yet to get a Hellfire to drop on my Siren. Kinda disappointing.

and why the hell can't I get the font change to work on my computer. I still only have the 4 lines of text even though I altered the correct file with the font line.

Bought a sniper rifle from the store last night.  500 damage, 95%, 4.1 rate of fire, 6 shot, and in red text "Sniper Killer, Qu'est-ce que c'est".  Large recoil reduction.  It's like having a 6-shot massive damage combat rifle.  It's crazy-good.

If I try real hard, I can pop one round off.  Mostly I pop off two and two is more than enough to explode the normal heads.

I'm only on playthrough 2 but this last 30 minutes of play threw 2 repeaters at me. Too bad repeaters are largely shit.

And my current shield which isn't too shabby considering I'm only level 41.
