Gotye does nothing for me.  Ohhhhh, I see.

The new David Byrne/St. Vincent collaboration, on the other hand, is awesome.

Gotye brought in 2012 for me, at a three-day festival in Australia. He picked Somebody That I Used To Know for midnight, as I stood there without my ex. Fuck Gotye.

The festival organisers had to choose between Gotye and Xavier Rudd, who they decided to have headline the first night instead (Dec 29th). Xavier was amazing, plays a mean didgeridoo.

I really like Cannabis Corpse.  They're one of the bands I post now and then on my fb page along with Kvelertak and Die Antwoord to let my far away family know I'm fine and my head is in it's proper place.

Ok, to be really honest, I post Kvelertak because bands who play in cages make me happy.   awesome, for real

That was my performance final when I was in college (for jazz improv class). The artist requested me specifically, it was a really hot performance. Also really easy :)

Only regret I have in life was dropping out of that curriculum to move to SF. How cool is a class where you play an auditorium for your final, with a smokin' hot woman writhing around you?

Yep. Artists would come in, put a sheaf of music on everyone's stands and we'd have to back them cold. It was a brutal but fun class.

It does kind of suck honestly. I can't decide if the fault lies more with GWAR or with Kansas.

I thought they did a good version instrumentally - the singing sucked on purpose.

Instrumentally, it was an interesting concept.  However, execution + singing =

Anaal Nathrakh is about to release their new album Vanitas and have uploaded some teasers:

ANAAL NATHRAKH - FORGING TOWARDS THE SUNSET
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzQpiJjdprQ&feature=plcp

ANAAL NATHRAKH - OF FIRE, AND F*CKING PIGS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdU0mY2wWIE&feature=plcp

Note: The vocals are a mix of screaming and clean and *other*,  probably not Sky friendly, but you might enjoy the music itself.

Very few bands this intense still make people freak out as much as these guys do after having been around for over a decade.  For the record, I simply love this guys and have  been snatching every release up ever since I first heard their mindblowing album The Codex Necro.

Heart Anaal Natraki.  Music from The Codex Necro are some of the first tunes I bought when I got my first iPod.  I like most bits of nearly every album they've made but that first one was killer.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

This is what you should be playing when the kiddies come to the door begging for food.

And what the plan for this year?  Teeth rotting flab building sweeties for those who don't care?  Or bottles of Glucerna and bags of Alli pills from people like me who are concerned for the tubby youth of today?
