Wow, they hit damn near everyone with the nerf bat, except Teemo, Gangplank, Dr Mundo and Tyndamere.  What is scary is 3 of those characters see play already.  Nerfed Blitzcrank, again, back to back patch nerfs for him and I had been enjoying using him too but the claw speed nerf sounds harsh.

Buffing Teemo's range and damage is pure bullshit.  He was annoying as fuck and could swing games early on already.

They remade kayle into someone unplayable. So long, it's been fun. Her ulti is worthless without bonus damage, they already reduced reckoning damage and now slow too, and increased the invuln cooldown... sigh.

League of Legends v0.9.25.21

Champions:

    * A New Champion Approaches: Corki, the Daring Bombardier
          o Phosphorus Bomb - Corki fires a bomb at a target location. In addition to dealing damage, the blast reduces an enemy's chance to hit by 50% and reveals nearby stealthed units for 4 seconds.
          o Valkyrie - Corki surges to target location, dropping bombs that create a trail of destruction for opponents who remain in the fire.
          o Gatling Gun - Corki's gatling gun fires rapidly, dealing 40% of his total damage twice a second in an area in front of him, and shredding the armor of enemies who are under continuous fire.
          o Ultimate: Missile Barrage - Corki fires a missile towards his target location that will collide with the first enemy it hits, dealing damage to units around the target. Corki stores one missile every 12 seconds up to 7 missiles total. Every 4th missile will be a Big One.
          o Passive: Uranium Coated Shells - Corki’s basic attacks deal 20% additional true damage.

    * A New Champion Approaches: Katarina, the Sinister Blade
          o Bouncing Blade - Katarina throws a dagger that hits multiple units, dealing magic damage equal to her total damage plus a bonus amount to the primary target. Each subsequent hit deals 15% less damage.
          o Killer Instincts:
                + Passive: Katarina's attack speed is increase each time she consecutively hits the same target.
                + Active: Katarina's next basic attack has a bonus effect. Bouncing Blade deals full damage to every target hit and reduces incoming healing to the targets hit, or after using Shunpo Katarina's dodge chance is increased for 3 seconds.
          o Shunpo - Katarina instantly moves to her target's location. If the target is an enemy, she deals magic damage.
          o Ultimate: Death Lotus - Katarina goes into a state of extreme focus, throwing daggers with unrivaled speed at one enemy champion for each level of the ability.
          o Passive: Voracity - If an enemy champion dies within 15 seconds of being hit by Katarina, she gains 50 gold and her cooldowns are reduced by 20 seconds.

    * Kayle (Light Remake)
          o Reckoning - Strikes a target dealing damage and slowing its movement speed and attack speed for 4 seconds.
                + The movement speed reduction is now 20-30% down from 20%-40%.
                + Removed the stun and double damage component after an ally dies.
          o Divine Blessing - Blesses a target allied Champion, healing them and increasing their movement speed for 20 seconds.
                + Changed the heal over time into a direct heal.
          o Righteous Fury - Ignites Kayle's sword with a holy flame, granting Kayle a ranged splash attack.
                + Removed the bonus damage, and lowered the duration of the spell.
          o Ultimate: Intervention - Bathes Kayle’s target in a holy light, rendering them immune to all damage for 4 seconds.

Captain Teemo had better be reporting for fucking duty, that's all I'm gonna say.

Fuck, I need to find a new char. I'm getting decent with Amumu, but with the continuing health nerfs and the items aimed towards high HP tanks, who knows if that'll last.

Some nice changes. With as much as people bitch about Ryze, I'm surprised more wasn't done to him. I like playing as him, but the constant whining gets on my nerves.

True. He takes a bit to build in power, but once he's rolling, he's pretty powerful. I've been using him less and less because of the whining. My current favorite might be Singe. Good times.  awesome, for real

I'm not sure I like that or not. I'm kinda hoping it's just for teammates so when I play as Soraka, I know who to infuse.

Seriously, helping Gangplank is a bit questionable, his gun ability and poison are great early game abilities and his ult isn't bad either.  But Teemo could win a game for a team already by pushing a lane early and helping his team get out to a big kill lead by mid game.

I think I'm going to start trying out the scarecrow and the alchemist guy since Blitzcrank got hit a bit too hard w/ the nerf bat.

Teemo was never any more powerful than any of the other ranged characters except for a non-carry Sivir.

By not any more powerful, I mean weaker across the board. Having played over 100 games with him, I can confidently say that his power curve was crap.

Spam poison at the beginning.
Speed buff/run to a shroom mid game.

His poison is probably one of the most mediocre in the game until you stack the shit out of AP, which I don't do.

I get many, many more kills bringing up blinding dart first. And with the new range, I'll get many more.

I would always click on the enemy hero and see their info bar at the top of my screen with mana and everything. So I don't see that much of a difference unless you talk about team fights where it's actually pretty sweet knowing everyone's mana.

I'm digging that new super high tier item that just rapes tanks in every possible hole.

Whenever an opponent discards a card, Megrim deals 2 damage to that player.

O hay, they buffed Cho'Gath again. Do ho ho.

On the flip side though, they nerfed Gangplank's one ability which actually scaled into lategame. Sometimes i wonder.

I think Teemo's biggest advantage is mental.  People just don't want to push him, and when he runs they don't chase.  Those mushrooms fuck with your mind.  The thing is, they're not all that powerful, and you can probably out dps him straight up even if you hit one.  It's just that people hit one and freak out, run, then I speed boost and chase them stacking poison darts that ensure victory.

The new Teemo is pretty nasty. I don't use him that well, but others kick my ass with him. I do pretty well with Corki. Can't do a damn thing with the other new champion.

Anyone spent  any time playing as Fiddlestick or Singe? Need to branch out since Blitzcrank has been nerfed so hard and those are the two I'm looking at.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.

Character problems is what you end up with when you play with the OP FOTW.

Whenever an opponent discards a card, Megrim deals 2 damage to that player.

Fiddlesticks is hard, because he loses a lot of damage quite rapidly as the game goes on, unless, you gank heavily in the beginning and snowball that advantage into a 20/25 min team push. On the other hand, he has excellent crowd control, and some really good direct damage through his lifedrain.

Singed is, like other pure tanks, hard to gauge. He does not tend (in my experience) to get huge killstreaks since he mostly initiates in group fights and then runs around being annoying. He has excellent hp and regen if built right and can be very hard to run away from. A well-played Singed often triggers the tf2's heavy in my head, yelling "engineer is credit to team!"

I think I'll start with Fiddlesticks then, never enjoyed tanking that much.  Thx for info.

I suck with Fiddlesticks.

Singed however, I'm alright with. You won't have tons of kills, but you will run around being an annoying asshole to everyone else and really, that's a lot of fun.  why so serious?

Fiddlesticks is hard, he never gains much survivability and becomes a completely different character when blink is up versus when it isn't.  Also he forces you to really push the early to mid game, if you aren't dominating your lane to start its only going to go downhill.  Haven't tried Singed yet, I wanted to but he's a tank and I've never played tanks in DoTa so I'm not sure how to do it properly.

I did play some Malphite yesterday and he's pretty fun.

Anyone got advice for Sivir?  I like her skills but ye gods she is so fragile at least early on.  Is she just weak early game or was I doing something horribly wrong?
