Don't believe it? Well buddy, put on the tinfoil hat and read.

Quote from: Some Nutcase
The story about Mark Chapman is a cover-up. Bold print government cryptographic codes that include the killer’s face and true identity, the killer’s alleged name and letter to the editor printed before the murder and Richard Nixon’s book, The Real War, in back issues of Time, Newsweek, and US News and World Report magazines printed before, during, and after the night of December 8, 1980 prove that Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan arranged for the author Stephen King, then barley famous, to assassinate John Lennon. That King’s writings draw, dramatically, from the crime and that he taunts us all in his interviews and comments only makes this the story of a lifetime. My 24-page booklet contains everything you've seen here and much more. Please order your copy. I guarantee it is the absolute truth about what really happened to John Lennon.

Just to be safe, I plan to notify the Department of Homeland Security.

It is my DUTY to bring the hard-hitting tinfoil hat news TO YOU.

In fact, I should report YOU to the department of homeland security for not taking these things seriously enough. You are the one to be suspected, sir.

Not the They that wants you to think we did land on the moon.  It's the other They.

They is in Branson, MO.

Quote
BRANSON, Mo. (Wireless Flash) -- It may drive grammarians crazy, but a Branson, Missouri, man has legally changed his name to the pronoun "they."

The 44-year-old formerly known as Andrew Wilson (and now known as "They") says the moniker swap started as a family joke because he always wondered, "Who is this `they' when people say `They say this' and `They say that?'"

They says he has a good sense of humor and decided to legally change his name and take responsibility for They. He even has a driver's license with the name on it.

They is also an inventor and holds 14 patents, including Ground-Effect lighting -- a neon light that fits under cars -- and Shades Eyewear, sunglasses which have a visor extending a half-inch from the top to shade the glare of the sun.

Of course, being the face of They comes with baggage -- mostly, the reputation of being a kill-joy. But They says "that's the yin and yang of life."

They has no intention of ever changing his name back to Andrew Wilson and says his friends tell him, "If anyone but you changed your name to They, they would think he had a problem."

I thought that barely substantiated conspiracy theories were really more of my forte.

It were the Republicans, dagnabbit it!   They committed the crime with microwave rays directed at Mark David Chapman which, through a subtle yet oddly sexy process, drove him to commit the crime.   The motive was because Lennon was just too damn nice and offended the infernal brotherhood in which they served, risking failure of their plan to annihilate all of humanity by 2008.

And if you believe I'm serious, I have a fantastic bridge in Hillsbrad to sell you, just south of Tarren Mills.  Marvelous view, absolutely no PK activity.

Egyptian paper: Israel-India nuke test caused tsunami

The earthquake that struck the Indian Ocean on December 26, triggering a series of huge waves called tsunami, "was possibly" caused by an Indian nuclear experiment in which "Israeli and American nuclear experts participated," an Egyptian weekly magazine reported Thursday.

According to Al-Osboa', India, in its heated nuclear race with Pakistan, has lately received sophisticated nuclear know-how from the United States and Israel, both of which "showed readiness to cooperate with India in experiments to exterminate humankind."

Since 1992, the magazine argued, leading geological centers in Britain, Turkey and other countries, warned of the need "not to hold nuclear experiments in the region of the Indian Ocean known as 'the Fire Belt,' in which the epicenter of the earthquake lies.

Geologists labeled that region 'The Fire Belt' for being "a dangerous terrain that can move at anytime, without human intervention," Al-Osboa' wrote.

Despite warnings not to carry out nuclear experiments in and around the 'Fire Belt', "Israel and India continue to conduct nuclear tests in the Indian Ocean, and the United States has recently decided to carry out similar tests in the Australian deserts, which is included in the 'Fire Belt', the Egyptian weekly magazine wrote.

"Last year only, Arab and Islamic states have asked the United States to stop its nuclear activities in that region, and to urge Israel and India to follow suite," Al-Osboa' reported.

Although Al-Osboa' does not rule out the possibility that the tsunami could have been caused by a natural earthquake it speculates however that, "while it has not been proved yet, there has been a joint Israeli-Indian secret nuclear experiment [conducted on December 26] that caused the earthquake."

The Egyptian weekly magazine concludes in its report that "the exchange of nuclear experts between Israel and India, and US pressure on Pakistan which is exerted by supplying India with state-of-the-art nuclear technology and preventing Islamabad from cooperating with Asian and Islamic states in the nuclear field, pose a big question mark on the causes behind the violent Asian earthquake."

Incitement against Israel and Jews in Egyptian media is usually limited to the context of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict yet exceptions are known to occur.

In August 2002, the Paris Supreme Court summoned Ibrahim Naafi', editor of the Egyptian daily Al-Ahram, for having authorized the publication of a controversial article entitled 'Jewish matza is made from Arab blood' in the October 28, 2000 edition of the paper.

Naafi' was charged with incitement to anti-Semitism and racist violence.

Maybe we shold keep the poliical crap in the political forums, so you won't risk my strange political observations such as:

"It seems that the Christian-majority based United States and Islamic parts of the world are busily engaged in a holy war, dragging the rest of humanity down with them."

Considering the parts of humanity that are either Christian, Islamic, or at war with one or the other seperately there's really nobody left for a Judeo-Christian Islamic conflict to pull in.

As far as my locked thread goes, my viewpoint wasn't that Bush threatened to nuke Mecca, but whether Bin Ladin thinks that he would.  I thought it would be an interesting topic.

Bin Laden hasn't made an attack on the US because he hasn't been capable. 9/11 took what, 3, 4, 5 years to plan and execute? And that was with very little attention being put on Bin Laden's organization and a chummy relationship with a sovereign nation.

Now, he no longer has a sovereign nation overtly providing aid, every law enforcement agency in the world has him on its books, at least half of his financial network has had its assets frozen, and two Muslim nations have been attacked. The stuff he's doing in Iraq? That's about all he can do, and he can only do it there because of the cluster fuck vaccum of power created by our toppling of the regime. Not to mention the oh so juicy targets of assloads of military men and civilian workers in Iraq. 9/11 type of attacks take place because no one is expecting them. Everyone is expecting them now.

I believe there is a possibility that attacks have already been carried out on U.S. soil, just nowhere near the magnitude.  There was that nut that shot up the Israeli airline terminal at LAX on July 4th, 2002.  The Beltway Snipers purportedly had ties to militant Islamic groups, as well.  Of course, they could have been acting on their own.  We'll probably never know.
