Forget dual monitors. I'm surprised at the lack of leg room.

I'm only 5'6", so I'm able to put my feet up on my woofer comfortably.

Do cats instinctively know when you're taking a photo of your desk?

They know when you do EVERYTHING.

I still can't get over how thick Engels monitor is. ACK!

That is exactly how I remember everything in Italy looking, so Falconeer nailed it in one.

And still, couchsurfers literally love the place. Weird, huh?

FAKE EDIT: Yes, that's the C64 we keep using for our M.U.L.E. tournaments. You can see a Sega Megadrive joypad dangling somewhere under the table on the left, cause Sega and Commodore shared the same game port. I take you missed the (working) 1541 floppy drive on top of my case.

I expect to see everything in Italy leaning at an angle.

I can also spot a 1541 at great distance.  God, I have so many great memories that are linked to the C64.

Hey, my first post could have Rome as its designated R&R post. Might have to swing by, if the Pope doesn't nuke me from orbit.

Remember guys, if you have more than one computer Synergy is your friend.

Wish I  could use it, but the work pc connects to a VPN, and I'm not circumventing all the firewalls with a tunnel just to use the same mouse and keyboard as my home box.

If the pope didn't nuke me from orbit in 35 years it simply means neither he or the firm he works for has that power.

And no Italian chick on the couch, cause to save myself for reasons it would be too complicated to explain here, I am (mostly) into foreigners.

At 6'5" I've got plenty of leg room.  Almost 40" of it.  Can't stretch my legs 100% of the way out, but I just back my chair out for that.

Eh, our Italian teacher when I was there said to not even bother with the native girls, as they're too stuffy and want to be wined and dined and pampered and spoiled and courted too much.

No idea if there's any truth to it.

Generalizations are bad. Yes, there's some truth in it, but of course there's much more as soon as you leave the shopping district or stay away from bars and discos. Picking up girls in crowded cool places is the most common rookie mistake when in Italy. Unless you dig spoiled bimbos.

I might as well play this game.  It is also proof of how much dusting I need to know.  (No wonder I am selling toys on ebay.  Too lazy to dust around em!)

I feel much better about my clusterfuck of a desk after seeing Jains.  Stef was sitting next to me on the couch as I loaded the pictures, and the first thing she said was "Woah, he's never had sex."

Thanks for making me look good. :brofist:

My desk is really tall, I mean it's almost too tall for me (and I'm 6'6"). It's some old cubicle desk with tall side panels, and for some reason the top is about 3 inches thick and heavy as hell...

I could use it for a bomb shelter!

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Thanks all for ridiculing Jain so that I cannot see the pictures.

That was sarcasm.

I was about to take some shots with my wife's Rebel XTi since she has decided she will start a new camera collection (and she's out of town) but the fucking battery was dead.  You guys have been very accommodating and I'll return the favor.  I'll also leave them up in the face of any ridicule. Srsly. I'll never post anything but its because I don't have camera and I'm moving within a week.  I've moved more then once a year on average for the past 7 years, god I hate my life.
