Been playing Godzilla: Save the Earth for PS2.

WTF sort of title is that?

Anyway, this is one of those games that the review sites just shrug at and go "Well it's just a mediocre fighting game."  Fuck you, it's a mediocre fighting game with GODZILLA, bitches!

Very faithful to the source material in terms of moves and sounds, some new monsters and some old-school monsters in there.  (Megalon, yeah!)  It's basically the King of the Monsters remake I've been waiting for, even if no one else has.  Picking a motherfucker up and heaving him through a building kicks almost as much ass as picking up the building and bouncing it off said motherfucker's head.

The plot isn't worth mentioning and is barely presented anyway, but who gives a shit?  I can be Gigan and give that bitch Mothra a taste of the belly-saw, and that's a hell of a lot better than a fucking story any day.

In short, if you don't love good mindless fun like this, then fuck off.

I have Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee (DAMM) and Godzilla: Save the Earth for the Xbox and enjoy both of them. They are mindless fun and my 4 year old son can play them with me. The games have also got my son interested in Godzilla movies (no Matthew Broderick, mmkay?) which can be mildly entertaining as well.

Godzilla good. Broderick bad.
