So. GamesCom! The biggest convention in the world, but no one would give a shit if it weren't for pressers! So let's get on with that! Tuesday,18th August 2009 16:30– 17:30 CET (14:30– 15:30 GMT, 7:30-8:30 PDT (Los Angeles), 10:30-11:30 EDT (New York)) Electronic Arts 18:30 – 20:30 CET (16:30– 18:30 GMT, 9:30-11:30 PDT, 12:30-14:30 EDT) Sony Computer Entertainment
Wednesday,19th August 2009 10:00 CET (08:00 GMT, 01:00 PDT, 04:00 EDT) Microsoft Game Studios / Lionhead Press Briefing 12:00 CET (10:00 GMT, 03:00 PDT, 06:00 EDT) KONAMI DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT GmbH Press Conference 16:00 CET (14:00 GMT, 07:00 PDT, 10:00 EDT) NAMCO BANDAI &Partners Press Conference 17:00 CET (15:00 GMT, 08:00 PDT, 11:00 EDT) Bethesda Softworks Press Conference
Yea. We're gonna party like it's 2 months ago. Only this time Nintendo won't have a dominatrix on stage being a douchebag and Molyneux will be jerking off on you instead of Miyamoto. Woo. Edit: Couldn't deal with the repeating letters even though I typed them. Also, Nix is an asshat.

I'm hoping they announce that their next game is 100% RMT. You buy everything from the Title Screen to whichever ending is most fitting. The grand total, should you want everything - which is totally unnecessary, comes out to $7,849.99. Or you can wait 8 months for the GOTY edition and get it all for $29.99.

There are still gaming trade shows for the public? Hell, I understand developers meeting and communicating with each other, but apart from that aren't they all more or less irrelevant in times of instant communication?
Except for the swag of course, but they could send that to our home adresses and be done with it.

The gaming industry working around trade shows is a complaint for another time. But yes, they may as well not exist anymore and serve no purpose other than to fuck with development schedules and be a lot of fanwanking. The latter is great, the former is goddamn annoying unless the people doing the show have to please a board of directors. They all need to go away, really. But for now, FROTH.

Further proof that Italians have suspect taste in games.

Bioware Austin will showcase a public demo/walkthrough of SWTOR at GamesCom, then they will make it available for everyone on the official website later this week (on Friday, probably). I don't know if it's entirely new or the same one they shown at E3 behind closed doors. Looking forward to it, anyway.
(edited the whole message to make more sense out of it myself...Damn, shouldn't write after my granny-like afternoon nap).
