I'm sure some people here have heard of this fiasco with Best Buy pricing a HDTV at $9.99 by accident. Of course, people saw it and mass ordered expecting them to honor the $1,880 discounted TV. People are so upset, one guy claims his wife DIED from hearing the news of Best Buy canceling all the orders and a website has been setup to.. I don't know. It's making the guy look like a complete douche bag.

This knee-jerk reaction to sue people is amusing, but at the same time annoying.

Edit: Said website is down at the moment. Who knows why.

Wow.  I wish I could be the judge on the case, should these shitbirds actually find a lawyer to take their case.

Assuming it's not on a contingent fee basis, plenty of lawyers will take up any dumbass case.

Very interesting. I wonder if it's that he did a switch or someone took it over. He was getting threats from people doing whois searches.

Alternative Company’s

We have started this page to provide you alternative websites and stores you can choose from rather than shopping at Worst Buy. Visitors, please feel free to add more by using the comments feature.

1.) www.NewEgg.com
2.) www.TigerDirect.com
3.) www.CompUSA.com
4.) www.CircuitCity.com
5.) www.ZipZoomFly.com

Okay... Tiger Direct, CompUSA and Circuit City are all the same company these days (Systemax Inc). They might be well known names, but they're just fronts for a much less well known company. Chances are that if the admin is familiar with them all in their current forms, he works for Systemax.

At least he was smart enough to put NewEgg at the top and bookend it with ZipZoomFly, rite?
