Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone

I heard that in some Islamic countries this title was translated as "Faggot Cowboy" lol.

Wow. I have no recollection of posting in this thread. I must have been drunk - I can be a real jackass after a few beers. Even more than normal.
Anyway, puerile Kevin Smithisms aside, not a huge fan of this film. Thought it was beautifully shot, had some great acting but overall found it a little dull and ponderous. Then again, that might be down to Annie Proulx more than the film itself.

It was better when it just looked like you were saying you didn't like the film with a gay reference. At least then it was mildly witty even if a bit homophobic.

It is a sappy love story where both of the lovers happened to be men.
I hate sappy love stories.

Pretty much, although it did have Randy Quaid and four boobs.

I don't think it was a sappy love story at all.. I think it was more about Ledger's character than their relationship. Just about him being conficted, yet persisting, and fucking up his life. Oh wait.. I shouldn't err.... act like I actually watched the movie. Forget the commentary.

It was clear that hot Michelle Williams needed me, not gay Heath Ledger. Unfortunately she got the real Heath Ledger instead.
But I appreciated the movie.

Ah, I thought the ending was the best part. Wait, I already said that too.
