While the rest of CCP is busy blundering with things that only 1% of the playerbase use on a regular basis like T3 and Blackops, a small but furrylike group of backteamers are busy quandering over the not so important things like a workable UI. In this devblog we learn that a small but dedicated team spend two weeks creating a butan that allows you to join a corporation from anywhere, genius.
Quote from writer of the blog "Could it really be this simple? Apparently, this one was. Brilliant!"
That's a lot of words to describe a semi-useful button, the lack of which we all learned to interpret as a "if the candidate can't be bothered to fly to our HQ to apply then he's probably not corp material" anyway.
Countdown till it's reversed when a bunch of griefers goon alts remotely applies to every corp under the sky. Daily.

Yeah, that seems like more of a design change than a programming challenge. Though I do applaud any attempt to improve the abysmal UI.
Maybe they should improve the abysmal logging while they're at it. Actually, from what I've seen, the logging is even worse than the UI if you can imagine that. I mean, it takes them six weeks to find out that they don't even know who unchecked the sov button on a POS, one of their core mechanics? (*cough*R2TJ*cough*)
