So I saw this tonight at the film festival. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1334537/Though it was pretty darn funny really. The two main actors do a hell of a job, without them it could have been pretty meh. Audience really seemed to enjoy it also. I dunno what its release situation is outside the festivals though.

So it's like Zack and Miri Make a Porno, except with two straight guys?

Not really. It's more... I dunno what to compare it to, really. It's a kind of study about the character and friendship of the two guys, and how their images of themselves and their pride force them into this absurd situation. Guys friend comes and visists after they havn't seen each other for a bit, they make a dare at a party and then can't/won't/don't want to back out of it, but can't/won't/don't really want to go through with it either. Except it doesn't take itself really seriously and is mostly just a comedy that plays on the stupidity of the premise.
Really hard to put a finger on it. I watched it because I have a mini pass and need to see some films before the festival is over, but it turned out a whole whole lot better than I expected. Mostly due to the minor elements and the acting. (I don't remember Zack and Miri being half as funny... but a theatre full of people pissing themselves can maybe make things seem better than they are)
