So, who's going?

I went for the Saturday last year, and despite the overcrowding and endless lines, I really enjoyed it. So, I'm going for the whole weekend this year.

Not too much info on it yet - Ron Gilbert is the keynote speaker.

Let me know how the crowding is this year.  I went last year and thought that if it were any more crowded I probably wouldn't be able to handle it.  Curious to hear whether it gets worse or better this year (I hear they're going to have more space but also more people).

It was crazy last year - that's why I decided to do it as a three day trip this time, so I don't feel the need to push through to see everything in one day.

Ookii - if you are coming up, we should try to gather up some of the F13 locals over the weekend.

Already here, engaged in some hot SAX (bag stuffing for attendees).

Well, if anyone wants to meet up for booze or dinner, let it be known. I'll be in Seattle from Thursday afternoon through Sunday.

Hey Lorekeep, since you might be in the know...

There's a one hour gap between the Make a Strip presentation and the SWOTOR presentation on Saturday. Are they going to clear the room after the first presentation, or are they going to let everyone stay there for the hour waiting for the next one?

As you can guess, I was one of the lucky ones that lined up for the Fallout demo last year, only to find out that they never cleared the room.

I asked one of the senior Theatre people who wasn't sure (happened to be sitting next to me when I read this.) He didn't have the theatre clear schedule on him. He'll let me know (probably in next 24 hours).

Given a choice of SWTOR or Assassins Creed 2 (the other big demo), I'll take the former.

I don't overly want to go to the make a strip presentation, but last year if you weren't in the session prior to the big event (Fallout 3) you didn't get in. Unfortunately last year, they didn't tell the 1000 that stood in line waiting for 90 minutes that the theater was already full.

Room will be cleared for the SWTOR panel, as well as the Omegathon rounds.

I'm compiling a list of interesting games you might not have heard of or have a signifcant showing compared to before.
