For serious. Most of their images are being replaced with this shit:

Now I get the joy of going through and seeing if f13 ever used it on the frontpage.

So they're not going to display any of the images they hold for sites they have computer-nerd-politics reasons against, is that what that self-aggrandizing rant was about?  That's pretty douchebaggy of them.  I mean what's next, block images going to IE browsers because they think people should use firefox?  Assholes.

On an ironic note I bet they are all for net neutrality though.

So what is the current best, least annoying option for free hosting that probably won't disappear over night?  And don't say dropbox, I'm not installing a god damn app on my computer just so that I can share cute panda pictures.

No, no, you don't get it.

They got hacked by some people who are claim to be anti-full-disclosure and are protesting it by hacking sites like imageshack.

I agree that there are some crappy practices around full-disclosure being used to further the glory of the "security experts", etc, but I firmly believe it's better than the alternative and I'm also skeptical that hacking a bunch of random websites as a "protest" makes much sense.

This is going to be the greatest victory for internet dipshits with an agenda since Scientology was utterly destroyed.  Ohhhhh, I see.

I use my Dropbox for things I want to keep around for posterity and easy access.  The fact that it has a limit makes me not want to fill it up with random crap, though.

I tried tinypic while imageshack was busted.  It seems nice enough.

Boxstr used to be nice but then they broke it when they tried to redo the UI.
