No shit? No thread here?

Exceeded expectations by going #1 vs. Up. Stayed in #1 for another weekend. The movie is freaking hilarious and is a classic Vegas Crazy tale. Lots of dirty jokes.

Very funny, particularly Galifinakis who has been waiting for a breakout role like this.

"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron.”

Not much to talk about aside from saying it's really funny.  I imagine most people know from the trailers whether they'll like it or not.

Hmm, need to see this.  Several of my friends have messaged me saying the movie is hilarious.

I laughed out loud at least six times during the movie.

The final photo montage during the credits was a great way to end the film too.

Yeah that montage was like an in-character Behind The Scenes extras on the DVDs. Need more of those.

Saw this today with the wife.

We were pretty much the only two people in a cavernous theatre.

Perhaps I missed the atmosphere;  it was funny, but not hugely so.  The Mike Tyson stuff was lame.

The male lead was hawt as hell tho.

Saw this over the weekend. Truly enjoyed it. Heather Graham must have a fantastic team of surgeons. She has to be nearly 40 and still looks like a teenager.

This was good, very detailed and well done too which I didn't expect at all.  Made me really want to go to Vegas.  I hate it when that happens and its any time that isn't mid August to mid October.

Not that funny.  Galifniakis was the one saving grace, everyone else was botched.  This movie is way over-hyped.

Eh to each their own.  This is the first movie in a long time I paid to see twice in the theater (and saw it 2 more times on DVD).

^This.
I saw this 3 times due to people wanting to watch this over the holidays in a few places I went to. I didn't mind because I really wanted to like this movie and was hoping it would be one of those movies that grows on someone. Sadly that isn't the case here. I was expecting this to be some great movie full of laughs and for it to be hilarious based on all the (over)hyping it was given. What I got was Galifniakis having a moment here and there, a few funny pictures at the end, and some outtakes and scenes with Ken Jeong (Mr Chow).

Watched it over the holidays while at my parents.   5 min or so in my dad sat down and watched the rest of it with me.  That was pretty cool in and of its own, as the last time I sat on a couch and watched a film with my dad was probably more than a decade ago.  Anyways we both laughed our asses off.  Initially I wass wondering if my dad might not appreciate the humor but he was in tears when he learned the dentist pulled his own tooth out.

Was this a life changing film?  It was no English Patient or Raise the Red Lantern, but I laughed long and hard.

One question my dad and I still have:  where did the chicken come from?

I thought it was hilarious, with the best part being when the naked Chinese dude leapt out of the trunk and started whaling on them. I loved the fact that they didn't try to explain why these guys did some of these things, like the tiger, or even how they knew to go there.

I've heard they are making a sequel, and I'm sure it will be about as good as Analyze That.  swamp poop

I watched the beginning of this, primarily because my dad watched it and thought it was hilarious (swamp poop bizarrely unexpected) The penthouse scene at the beginning seeme taken straight out of Fear and Loathing but I was just cringing too much to see it much beyond the first 20 minutes.

I thought the movie had a few funny bits, but over all I found myself trying to laugh just because that's what I thought I was supposed to do for this overhyped movie.
