I have the Sawyer Song stuck in my head today.  I suppose I shouldn't send you that, though.

You didn't specify a number of songs to submit (unless I've gone blind), so I submitted six.

Poop!  I only submitted two, but I'm fairly sure that a vast majority of my music collection belongs nowhere near this theme.

This is f13, so SOME video game music has to make it in, right?

I nominate:

(1) Zeal overworld theme  (Crono Trigger)
(2) Light World overworld theme (Link to the Past)
(3) World of Ruin overworld theme (FF6)

EDIT:  I don't listen to music so I don't know where to find any of this.

You don't get anything on there because you can't follow simple directions. And I love those tracks.

For the rest of you, game music is fine.

I'm gonna have to do this today after I wake up. It's gonna be mostly chillout, mostly because that is what I'm listening to lately, and I think it goes with the cover.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

See that ipod icon?  Yeah.
I'm not sending him 6000 songs (also just my work machine, about half my collection).

South's Gonna Do It Again. Or maybe Uneasy Rider. Long Haired Country Boy was my theme song when I was younger.

Maybe I'll submit a couple more, I'm probably pretty far from most recommendations though it'll be hard to beat my first submission.

I was kidding.  I sent about ten.  Work's slow, and I have a large number of songs that fit the theme I developed in my head.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

I'd say about 75% of the stuff I've gotten so far is incredibly heavy metal of some sort or another. Need more submissions. I have, however, gotten a lot of submissions, keep them coming.

On a more serious note, one of the reasons I'm doing this by email is so I don't WANT to know who every submitter is. I know very few email addresses on f13. I'm not going to look them up for the final results. If people want to submit their secret shame, so be it, I won't know who submitted it anyway.

So, do you want commentary on each track, or do you just want us to send the links?

Still need moar. Mostly because, somehow (and admittedly unexpectedly), a handful of people submitted doubles and triples of songs. Meaning more than one person sent in the same song. Good thing? Right? Maybe? Anyway, more!  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Could you give a rough outline of the types of songs you have received so far? You mentioned earlier that you had mostly metal, and if it was still so, it would probably effect what I sent.

It's about 50% metal and about 50% so far removed from metal that I don't know how this is going to turn out. I'd break the rules and ask what inspired people to send in metal, but frankly, I don't want to know. Ohhhhh, I see. Maybe I should've rerolled on the album title and not gotten something with the word habit in it.

I have gotten two emails with videogame music.

The lack of discussion over the title & cover has to have driven this into a funny direction with the metal.

Ed: - In fact, I hesitate to send anything at all not knowing if this is going in a Relationship, Drug-use, or some other "habitual" direction. Changes the songs you'd send a lot.

Sent in mine. Light on the metal, which took some doing :)

There's no way you look at that album cover and send in all metal.  The people who are sending in metal likely listen to little else on the main (or didn't read the rules).

That album cover is a classic indie/britpop vibe.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter, except it defeats the purpose of having a cover and a title.

No that's a great idea.  Intersperse the songs with Schild Monologony.
