AMC is advertising a Murray Marathon on Sunday.  Stripes, GB 1 7 2 and Caddyshack. What more could a father ask for? Woo!

I most certainly could ask for Groundhog Day.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Groundhog's Day is a classic.

Bill Murray is underappreciated.

I can't believe that I forgot Rushmore.  Groundhog's Day and Rushmore would be perfect.

Funny fact: Did you guys know that Bill Murray was seriously pretty close to getting the Batman role instead of Keaton back in the day?  ACK! swamp poop awesome, for real Then Burton became director and canned the idea.

The Life Auquatic with Steve Zissou, Rushmore and Kingpin are my favorites. Bill Murray is the king of understatement but he can flip the switch and go over the top too.  :)

As for the Batman thing... if that's true... yowza.

Needs Ghostbusters.

I believe GB 1 7 2 was supposed to mean "Ghostbusters one and two"

But it's nothing without scrooged, classic movie.

Ohhhhh, I see. It was the lack of "&" that threw me off that one.

& yeh Scrooged definitely should be there.

Think I'd substitute Razor's Edge, Groundhog Day, What About Bob or Kingpin for the Ghostbusters duo, tried watching GB at least 3 times, it put me to sleep…

"Should the batman kill Joker because it would save more lives?" is a fundamentally different question from "should the batman have a bunch of machineguns that go BATBATBATBATBAT because its totally cool?". ~Goumindong

Most movies listed are ones AMC doesn't have rights to.. which limits their showings.  I believe they do have Groundhog Day, so it's a missed opportunity to show GB2 instead of that.

I'm surprised, given this crowd, that no one mentioned Where the Buffalo Roam.

That's the one where he plays Hunter S. Thompson right?  I saw a documentary where Hunter said he thought it was brilliant.  I haven't managed to see it yet.

Love Where the Buffalo Roam. Saw that as a teen on WGN without knowing anything about Thompson, then again after I'd read some Thompson in college. Fan-fucking-tastic.

But yeah, not having Groundhog's Day on there is just WTF.
