Since my last dog was starting to get really old, we decided about a month ago to look into getting another pet. I didn't want a new puppy at the time because Fluffy was such a handful so I decided we should get a kitten, since cats can usually amuse themselves more than dogs can and require less maintenance overall. Thus, we ended up with Peanut.  This little ball of fur is a dynamo of crazy energy and immense cuteness. |

My wife and I had to wait until 4 months to pick up our corgi, so we missed out on the extreme cuteness. She's also a stubborn terror when she doesn't want to do something like go to bed or share, well, anything.

Mostly it's the ears perking up that does it, as Abagadro pointed out. Though I know one adult Corgi who only had that happen with one ear and the other is permanently floppy.
