I'm 90% certain the sniper update stuff is still on.  Valve said a couple times before this that they wanted to try to combine class updates to prevent the "everyone's one class" problem.

True, I believe it was Shacknews who spoke to Gabe and he confirmed it is a 2 in 1 update..

The Sniper fight was pretty cool, especially the animation. I'll probably keep to CoD4 until everything calms down and then maybe work on some achievements.

Also, a revolver that either can do headshots like the sniper or auto-crits as you're breaking disguise with it.

Sounds like it's a more powerful/accurate but slower firing version of the revolver.

I feel really bad for engies, this is going to make things much harder on them.  I wonder if they shouldn't have done the engie update with the spy, who really cares if the snipers of the world have less fun?  Most of them aren't good enough to not be a drag on the team anyways.

My sister loves playing engineers, and she's apparently a really nasty one (she seems to kill a LOT of people with her wrench). She's already starting with the I'LL MAKE THEM ALL PAAAAAAY.

My mind is whirling with the possibilities of the cloak and dagger.  You can literally stand outside any spawn point (or in a heavily trafficked area, such as the 2fort pipe or near the first chokepoint on goldrush) indefinitely and invisible.  Then, anytime someone comes at you, you just sidestep, decloak, gank, recloak, and repeat.  You can stand in the best spots on the map and never worry about anything. 

Arguably that kind of behavior by a spy is not as helpful to the team as other things, but...

Not if I'm playing a Pyro -- I rapidly tap the fire button as I move around in potential Spy areas, which includes the interiors of 2fort.

Engineer was my favorite, too.  On the bright side, both the Engineer and Demoman may have the advantage of being the last classes to get an upgrade so maybe they'll get something really nice.  Not that I play anymore to care much.
