Hmmm. The best buy near us has piles of WoW and the LTD edition left. You just have to move to the ghetto, dude.

"Sold Out". Everywhere. And all the online stores here are on back-order. Oh well, I'm on backorder and should get it in about 7 days (with express shipping no less). Damned if I'm going to go to a shopping center on the 22nd of Fing December to pick up a game I could get earlier online.

Calantus, try those big Dick Smith Powerstore jobbies, I was at Moore Park in Sydney on the weekend and they had a decent pile of WoW in there (all the while the skinny nerd in EB was trying to scare me into preordering a copy as the only chance I'd have to play before mid-January.)  Mate of mine also says he got a copy on the weekend at GB's - not sure if hes talking about Myers tho.  That may be worth a phone call at least.

Its pretty sad that the Horizions GUI blows WoW way, even using some of those UI mods.

Hmm...I can't seem to recall. That game sucked so much that I couldn't play it longer than 10 minutes. Care to refresh my memory?

Has anyone been able to download the new WoW Interface Customization Tool yet? The link doesn't work for me, but I'm interested to see what exactly I can customize with this tool Blizzard has provided.

Also, it seems that Blizzard has blocked the use of the Census tool (screenshotted earlier) by making it so you can't do /who more often than ever 10 seconds. Since this tool uses /who to go through all the levels, it's borked until they add a 10sec time to each call. :P

I downloaded the extra toolbar mod that runs along the bottom of the screen. I haven't seen a need for anything else and Cosmos looks too bloated for my tastes anyway.

The FTP server Blizzard is using (from Microsoft ironically enough) doesn't seem to like connections from Web browsers -- try using an FTP client. I wouldn't get too excited about it, though, it's basically just an MPQ unpacker for extracting the interface files you already have on your machine to the Interface directory.

Yep, already tried to break Census, already fixed.  Census works now, except it takes about 5 minutes instead of 15 seconds or so to go through it.  I suppose they can come up with some other clever way to break it, but hopefully the Census makers will keep coming up with ways to fix it, too, because it seriously pisses me off that no game wants to show actual server numbers anymore.  The information is useful for deciding what server I want to play on, for one thing.  I used Census a few times on a few possible server choices when I was deciding, and finally ended up picking one with an average population I like.

My hunter is 45 and I haven't noticed any weakening of him or the pet, even in instances. Outside I easily can take down orange mobs. My pet offtanked adds in Udalman yesterday just fine on multipulls, and according to cosmos dps tracker I cranked out 120 dps through the fight. In tight corridors where I can't get range, I drop down to 50-70 dps with the dual swords I'm currently using. Still upgrading to mail so my mitigation is only at 29%, so I wont be tanking long if I get too much agro, but I really don't see the class as weak at all. I got a 1205 crit on an aimed shot on an even level elite mob, and haven't even got points in increased crit damage in my talents yet.

This is why I'm on an rp server ;)

You think no one on the rp server is running cosmos Sky? Or glances at the dps tracker? Or uses it to analyse their damage? Last I looked this was an out of game board. OOC discussion was encouraged. I hadn't heard this was an rp board. Guess I missed the memo.

Someone said the class was weak post 40, so I pulled out some numbers to demonstrate my experience with the class. Unless they meant the class was weak to roleplay I'm not sure what your issue is.
