Nothing earth-shattering, but it is written for a general audience. I always wonder how the rest of the world views guys like those in the article- I am a gamer, and even I think they are nerds!

Yep, just like most AP articles about "niche cultures," it tries to find the most extreme examples of that culture that are barely passable as human beings and writes about them. THANKS, AP!
