At what point can Dropbox upload stuff outside of the Dropbox folder? Anytime it wants. There's no security in a typical Windows setup that would prevent it from doing so (i.e. there's nothing special/secure about the designated Dropbox folder). You are basically trusting those guys not to root around in your stuff. |

Well since I can create an "infinite" number of email accounts I was going to create some more accounts for you but you can't switch accounts once you've installed the program and the uninstall/reinstall procedure is fucked up somehow so it won't let me install it a second time. I'll need to reboot my machine to try it again but it's busy recording crap right now so it'll be awhile before I can try it. |
