I just discovered this, and don't recall reading about it here, so I thought I'd share (assuming, hey, I'll bet there are plenty of nerds here who might eat this up:
http://academicearth.org/

Essentially, it's a Hulu-esque collection of course lecture video from colleges such as MIT, Stanford, Berkley, etc...
I checked out an "Introduction to Game Theory" from Yale, and in the first two minutes, the professor references two hand-outs he had given to the class that had games on them that would be played for purposes of the lecture.  I lamented, and then clicked on a "Summary Lecture" link below the video to find copies of those hand-outs awesome, for real (along with notes on the lecture).

The site is stronger in some subjects than in others, and of course, no one should consider it to be the equivalent of physically attending these colleges, but I thought it was still pretty fucking cool, and it's certainly more productive and interesting than re-watching shit on Hulu.

edit: Yale.

Wow, really interesting. Saw a class about...Starcraft? From Berkeley.

Somehow, I would be a little annoyed if I walked into a class and it was being taught by a 2nd year student, but then again, it's a class involving fucking Starcraft.

Interesting. For those that don't know iTunes has a *ton* of college lecture videos now (iTunes U). It doesn't have that handout download feature though.

That's pretty cool.  It's strange to see how old friends of mine act in the classroom.

Thanks for the link!

Sorry, old-ish thread but I just now saw it and wanted to comment.  This is a DeCal class; basically a student-led elective course that gives you a couple of mostly useless credits.  Totally independent from any standard curriculum.  I sadly never had enough room in my schedule to fit any of them in (I had a pretty demanding major), but every now and then a particularly interesting DeCal makes the news and prompts a bunch of greyhairs to say "they're teaching THAT in school now?"
