Just how does a video recorder work? And how about fax machines, cars, washing machines, electric light, telephones, vacuum cleaners, and refrigerators? You'll find the answers here. We proudly present streaming versions of the TV series 'The Secret Life Of Machines' written by Tim Hunkin, and presented by Tim Hunkin and Rex Garrod.

Not being on TV  anymore, a buddy of mine who used to work at the Exploratorium turned me on to this series. Compare its instruction, and educational value to that of anything on the discovery channel.  Ohhhhh, I see.

By the way, the entire series can be viewed here.

I'm trying to think of a Secret Life of Arabia joke.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.
They called it The Prayer, its answer was law
Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone
