This thread is for listing pet peeves?

How about satellite television.

Boy, if only someone would invent a type of television that I can't watch when the weather is shitty.

People who get their food, try it, announce it tastes awful, then ask you to try it. People who look at a label on a bottle of wine and act like they know what the fuck they're talking about. Anytime John Madden speaks. People who bitch about government for hours on end yet don't vote. Fancy ketchup, fuck fancy, it's ketchup. Samwise.

I'll add more to this later.

EDIT: Also, people who can't, or refuse to, keep their god damn kids mannerly in a public place.

Oh, also horror commercials.

If you watch TV after 10pm, anyway. Whatever current horror movie is out seems to have a 10 billion dollar advertising budget. Every five minutes and on every single channel.

It literally drives me nuts to the point that I boycott the movies and will absolutely refuse to go see them or rent them.

Not that horror movies are ever worth watching anyway.

So, you boycott a movie you wouldn't have gone to see anyway because there is advertising for it?  swamp poop

Literally drives you nuts, eh.

He must mean that it loads a bunch of nuts into a truck and brings them to his house.  No other interpretation of that sentence makes sense.

My pet peeve is abuse of the word "literally".

OMGIAMACELEBRITAYRILLY massive fucking stupid sunglasses.

This is one of my new ones. Also, I'm sure its been mentioned in this thread, but I really hate the 'overpowering overtalker' who will interrupt someone and totally overpower their words/ignore what the other person is saying to tell THEIR story. Usually starts with 2 people talking at the same time, the non-overpowering overtalker stopping what their saying and 'acting busy' like taking a drink of a glass or drag off a cig. Its awkward as fuck.

Don't ever meet my family. We ALL do that. Although I think I'm getting better at not doing it to non-family members.

My biggest pet peeve in the world are people who type "should of" and "would of" and "could of." It's so wrong, it burns me like elven rope. Should HAVE or SHOULD'VE, people!

My pet peeve is jerkoffs who think picking apart sentences at 2am makes them cool in the eyes of others.

Think I just did this exercise on facebook a few days back…

1. People who let their dogs poop all over the neighborhood and don't clean up after…

2. People that talk loudly on their mobile phone in public…

3. People that talk loudly on their wireless headset in public…

4. Long lines.

5. Dirty bathrooms.

6. Mayonnaise.

Make up your mind!  Are people whos or are they thats?  Ok, so you've found my pet peeve.  I'm a who, not a that.  I'm sure I've done it myself.  What has annoyed me recently is that my local grocery store has discontinued it's delivery service which means I have to go into a store for more than fresh meat and produce!  SHOCK HORROR!!!

Other than that very nearly everything everyone does irritates me.  Especially when they do it on the internet.  Maybe it's the internet that annoys me.

Also - I'm not sure I understand what mayonnaise does to annoy you.

I'm sick of warnings on everything.  Especially on television.  They should just print that shit on the bottom of the TV set and quit wasting my time.

Complete strangers throwing huge glass candle holders at you for absolutely no fucking reason as you walk by a cemetery with a friend.  Especially if the thrower is inside the cemetery behind the locked gate.

On a related note, getting stitches in my face.

People who talk non-fucking-stop about their hobby of choice (which will be replaced with something else in 2 months), even when it is abundantly clear that no one gives a shit.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

Maybe they're wannabe Sloane Girls, although I don't know why anyone would wannabe one because everyone else in the entire world find them irritating, except them.
Well, you could say that about a lot of trends. Like the whole urban rapper look thing.

A trend that is so way overdue to go away. I love white guys in FUBU, though. NOT FOR U.

And a peeve: this kid who has been coming into the library with his guitar (looking up stuff online). It's a temptation I don't need during the work day, I just want to grab it and play for an hour.

There was a Far Side cartoon that apparently has never been scanned, or at least not with the caption reproduced as HTML.  It's a classroom full of students, one of which has a body the same size as the others but a head the size of a fist.  The caption was "May I be excused sir?  My brain is full."

I mention this because it's the first time I googled for an image and didn't find something useful (at least once I filtered out the porn).  I didn't even find any porn.  The internet has failed me.

Yeah, 4 days and I'm already cranky. Imagine what I'd be like after 8+ months.

The hayfever that has been circling around me trying to get in the odd kidney shot over the last 3 months has finally given up with the subtlety and uppercut me out of the ring. I feel like I landed on my nose.

My top 3:

1) People that talk through the entire movie.

2) People that eat like a cow chewing their cud.

3) Kids kicking my chair.
