PVP Comes to Final Fantasy

Sort of.

It doesn't give much of any details, no mecannics, explanations, etc. It sounds to me like they are adding a very rigid, structured game sort of PVP, almost like Mutant League Football or something. It could be damn fun, depending on how much of treadmill you'll have to endure just to get competitive in Conflict.

Definately different, but it seems more like a novelty than a PVP system designed to actually hold anybody's interest.  They say there is more to come though for the "conflict" system though.

Hmmm, not quite the all-out war I'd prefer to see, but it could be an interesting mini-game, spawning a tourney atmosphere. It's a better way to get non-PVP players interested in PVP than SWG's PVP switches.
