That's why I wrote "for those that missed things." Most people will already own most of the major stuff on this list. At least around here they will. I looked through the whole list, 593 games, and found out - hey, I own everything I want on Steam >_>

DoW + all four expansions is $30.

Company of Heroes and expansion for $15 each.

The infinitely moddable Space Empires V is $7.50. A bundle pack including SE4 is only $10.

Mount & Blade $15.

Call of Duty 4 is a mere 25% off ($37.50) but its the only major release i was curious about this year, and skipped.

Shit, this doesn't really go with my resolution to give up video games...

Anyway, this thread should be in the main PC forum, not hidden here!

Got me Bioshock finally.  Time to see what the fuss was all about.

I should've bought that ultimate doom too.  I don't know about other people, but classic doom just never gets old to me.

Further proof that Italians have suspect taste in games.

Nice! Unfortunately, I missed the last ultra-discount opportunity for Stalker, hence I will take advantage of this one.

I might pick up Mount and Blade. Then I can simply never get around to playing it.

I used the opportunity to claim several games I was only kind-of interested in; Gun, Culpa Innata, ArmA, Mosby's Confederacy, and Fallout 3 (yes, F3 is only "kind-of" interesting to me - the post-apoc genre turns me off).

It's the most I've ever spent at once on Steam.

I purchased Bioshock, $4.99 is kind of a no brainer.  Everyone and their brother was telling me it was one of the most unique games they have ever played.  Now that we don't have raping DRM in it I am eager to give it a go.

Very tempted to get ArmA, but I know I'd never get around to playing it with so much on my plate.

Downloading Bioshock now. For $5, there's no way I can pass that up.

Yeah, I hate Steam now.  I've bought like half their inventory during the sale...... :ye_gods.

Good thing I've sworn off MMOs.

I suspect a lot of people are about to discover their "Unlimited" broadband actually has surcharges after 20-50GB a month.  Seriously, why the fuck is Portal a 3.9GB download?  The whole Orange Box package is nearly 20 gig.
