This was far better than I was expecting. A rare case where a movie takes a ludicrous plot, doesn't camp it up at all - treats it totally seriously, and it still works. I was expecting camp based on the original, but instead got a pretty exciting "stupid action movie".

I also admit to having an old guy nerdgasm upon hearing Frankenstein's voice in the opening scene.

I was surprised by this movie. I expected your usual Statham over the top crap, but it managed to control his need to show off.

Slight derail: If anyone has Transporter 1, watch it with commentary. It's hard to not hate Statham for being so full of himself.

Yep I liked this movie, I mean it was just Action Movie fluff but it was enjoyable.  Plus I like Statham.

As awesome as the "hand" grenade was, no, no it doesn't make an appearance. The nerdgasm I mentioned however is related to a tie-in to the original.

It's a pretty decent action movie in an era when the action movies have all been crap.  If nothing else,  Ian McShane being Ian McShane is worth the price of admittance.

I so wish he had called someone a cocksucker....
