Most people probably don't think this deserves it's own thread, but I just watched it.
Thought it was good, but the ending was way too abrupt.

Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?

It had lots of potential but that ending was like.. Wtf?
I mean it's like they cut out 20 minutes at the end of the movie.

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation. -William Gibson

The film looks good imo, it's just script problems.
Umm if you have HD you should be fine most likely. There was nothing spectacular or ground breaking in it.

Apparently that's exactly what did happen.

Apparently the editors were not kind to this film. Even the director was appologizing for it before it was released which is not a great sign. I will rent it when I see it available hope they some day make a directors cut version that maybe throws the rest of the movie back in.

I read an interview with the director and he seemed very, very pissed at the editing done to the movie. Made me feel a little sorry for him.

Just finished watching the unrated DVD version and the last 20 minutes of the theatrical version.
I loved this movie and hate what they've done with it. The endings are similar, have the same outcomes, but are presented in different ways and are almost like two seperate movies. According to IMDB, the theatrical was 90 minutes or so, the unrated DVD is 101 minutes and the director's cut is 161 minutes. I want to see that extra 60 minutes, because I'm almost positive this movie REALLY REALLY NEEDS IT. As I said, I love what's there, but both versions I've seen just seem to end, without any real resolution. Maybe that extra 60 minutes is just wankery, but as good as what's here is, I can't help but think it'd be vastly improved by the extra time. If they ever release director's cut, I'll be all over it.

I'm with Haem on this. I really enjoyed it and would love to see it filled out more.

Supposedly that 161 minute version was the original scripted version that got scrapped. You'll never see it becuase they were never allowed to film all the parts or get the SFX for them.

Somebody ought to get stabbed over that. This movie has more potential for awesome than Shadowbane.

Yep I agree. I hate when flicks like this get hacked away at by studio execs that probably couldn't make their own cup of coffee.
