[edit] ah, i see.. just found out that the novel it was based on was a sequel to the novel "death wish"... makes sense.

although this is a very current movie in visual style, it has a massive amount of extreme violence, and over the top bad guys straight out of max payne or some shit, reminiscent of old school revenge films. pretty hilarious and thrilling at the same time..

between this and mutant chronicles, you've got a night of modern (albeit unintentional) cult schlock
