So, I saw the Knights of Cydonia video, and I thought it was completely awesome.  Though that might be due to the fact I'm a fan of shitty 70's western and sci-fi B movies.

In any event, I began to wonder what other sorts of videos I've missed over the years.  I haven't really kept up at all in like, a decade.  All the god damn videos on MTV just consisted of the band jumping around and playing at some random place.  Boring.  So, I figured I'd make a thread where everybody can post their favorite music videos, through the power of youtube or what ever.  I'd really like this not to degenerate into art fag slap fighting over music taste, so please keep that down (though I suppose if the song sucks that will hurt the video a bit).

I'll get it started.  This list is no way inclusive of anything, and only consist of a bunch of random videos I can think of in my drunken stupor, to get things rolling:

Muse - Knights of Cydonia:  Absolutly love this video.  But again, might be because I'm a fan of the genre they are spoofing.

Fatboy Slim - Weapon of Choice:  I don't think I need to say anything else  DRILLING AND MANLINESS

Beastie Boys - Sabatoge:  Classic from my youth.  Along the same lines as Knights of Cydonia really.

Genesis - Land of Confusion:  I loved this when I was a child because of the puppets.  I loved it more when I grew up because of the political commentary, heh.

Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer:  I also loved this as a child because he does shit thats funny to kids.  Still stands up to time IMO.  Also see:  pretty much every other music video he made.

Cake - The Distance:  I don't know why, but I always like this one.  Just the reactions that the animals have when he runs by.  But probably just a lot of nostalgia from my youth, heh.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Az_7U0-cK0 Aphex Twin - Come to daddy.  I remember being blown away when I first saw this video on mtv.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjAoBKagWQA Bjork - All is full of love.  I like a lot of her videos, but this one is very much my favorite.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hglVqACd1C8 Tool - Sober.  I can't think of a single Tool video that isn't awesome.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M3geoXOdnJQ Robert Palmer - Simply Irresistable.  Never cared that much for the song, but those dancers were hot as hell when I was a kid.  DRILLING AND MANLINESS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELpmmeT69cE Yes - Owner of a lonely heart.  Probably the only video I saw on mtv that weirded me out.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcOZ6xFxJqg Men Without Hats - Safety dance.  I don't know why I like this song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DNT7uZf7lew Men At Work - The land down under.  I just thought they were cool cause they were Aussies.  Spent many years wondering what the fuck vegemite was though.  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

Because it's awesome. And the video has a midget.

Kanye West - Champion

Bone Thugs - Tha Crossroads

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy - Slow Live Performance. Note all the musicians.
Gnarls Barkley - Smiley Faces
Gnarls Barkley - Going On
Gnarls Barkley - Run
Gnarls Barkley - Who's Gonna Save My Soul?
Seriously, Gnarls probably does the best stuff ever other than those one-time genius productions like Bjork's It's Oh So Quiet and Dirty Vegas' Days Go By.

And let's not forget to perpetuate the myth that I'm a weaboo.

Eri Nobuchika - Voice

Forgot about this.

Hasslehoff - Hooked on a Feeling

Edit: Also...

Peter Schilling - Major Tom
Kraftwerk - The Robots
David Bowie - Life on Mars
Madonna - Material Girl
Misfits - Scream - Yea yea, I know, no Danzig. Whatever.

Edit: Consolidating posts.

Haha, awesome, thanks.  I saw that video loooong ago on Beavis and Butthead, and always wanted to track it down again (but I had no idea who the fuck did the song or even what it sounded like).

I'd never seen that Knights video so we are even. I love the Col. Wilma Deering outfit she has on at the end.

Primus - Winona's Big Brown Beaver

Primus also has a pretty cool music video for their version of The Devil Went Down to Georgia (though I defiantly like the original song better than their version):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FRtkek-Et4&feature=related

Also Schild, your right.  Gnarls Barkley makes some pretty awesome videos, thanks for posting those (I really really liked the Smiley Faces video).  And thanks for reminding me about the Hooked on a Feeling video.   awesome, for real

What was the theme with the live performance of Crazy though?  I didn't really understand what the theme of the outfits they wore were suppose to be...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=6fbcTRq_Tcg - E Nomine - Schwarze Sonne. The video features Ralf Moller, an ex bodybuilder who appeared in Gladiator and "The Scorpion King" and played Conan the Barbarian in a TV series

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Ehl_VQuKRTc - Dire Straights - Money for nothing. This was the first real attempt at serious computer animation, its hard to believe. This literally created Computer animation from whole cloth.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=k5JkHBC5lDs - Dire Straights - Brothers in Arms

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=JgmIjvHR44c - Billy Joel - Uptown girl. All you need to know about why I will never play Westlife on my weekly radio show. I love the dancing in this.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=AtyJbIOZjS8 - Micheal Jackson - Thriller. The full 13 minute(!) version. Look just watch it ok? Zombies and werewolves will never look the same again...

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=nL49yZNE4yk - Adele - Hometown Glory. I love the simplicity of this

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=HNojQd_ri_o Taize Chanting. Sound quality is crappy but wow I wish I could have been there. I have participated in Gregorian chanting and that was awesome but Taize blows my mind.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=GWc6QQ9JlMc Weird Al Yankovick - White and Nerdy. This is actually the first take of Al And Danny Osmond acting the idiot for the real video (which you can see at http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-xEzGIuY7kw) and the real video is great but I love seeing Al and Danny doing their thing :)

Can you imagine what the video might have been like if they had made one for that song?  Ozark Mountain Daredevils had a great blend of music.

You inspired me to share. This is not a music video so much as a fan montage, but it's from a group that combines my two favorite styles of singing -- Tuuvan throat singing and Bulgarian female choir.

KISS I Love It Loud!  One heckuva rock anthem and still a cool video.
ACDC You Shook Me All Night Long Probably helped influence my love of girls on bicycles and bulls, plus they rock!
Y&T Summertime Girls OMG! Did we all look that goofy back then?  No wonder each generation makes fun of how the "old man threads."
Billy Idol Dancing With Myself Not sure, but I think he saved the world from zombies...still is rocking.
Joan Jett & The Blackhearts Crimson & Clover  It was 1980 something and she was hot as hell in this video.
REM Furry Happy Monsters wish I was stoned when I saw this :)
Kenny Rogers The Gambler Jim Henson was a genius.
Biz Markie Just a Friend  My kid hates it when I sing it like him  Grin

Sam Kinison with my theme song of the crazy ass bitches I end up with.... Wild Thing  Plus the bands with him rocked!  I miss Sam...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_lEsLcGB7Vo - Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboy

Little information about the video:
On August 16, 1960 he (Joseph Kittinger) made the final jump from the Excelsior III at 102,800 feet (31,300 m). Towing a small drogue chute for stabilization, he fell for 4 minutes and 36 seconds reaching a maximum speed of 618 mph [1] (988 km/h or 274 m/s) before opening his parachute at 18,000 feet (5,500 m). Pressurization for his right glove malfunctioned during the ascent, and his right hand swelled to twice its normal size.[1] He set historical numbers for highest balloon ascent, highest parachute jump, longest drogue-fall (4 min), and fastest speed by a human through the atmosphere[2].
