Saw this posted on Kotaku, thought I'd pass it along. Tim Schaefer posted the original design doc for Grim Fandango up on Double Fine's blog/news section.

You have to click the picture to load it up (it's a PDF). It's fun to read, and see what got cut out, and to remember how completely awesome that game was.

It's aged wonderfully IMO, still absolutely fantastic and something I'll always go back and play every year or two.
