I've had a ticket in since 1am, and it's still there at almost 10:30pm. WTF.

The servers are super fucked currently. So the wait is unsurprising if disappointing.

Uh, it's rare to actually get a response while you're logged in anyway. I usually get an email some six or seven hours later.

F  is inviting you to start Quarto. Do you want to Accept (Alt+C) or Decline (Alt+D) the invitation?

You have accepted the invitation to start Quarto.

Strawman here, but I've not had a problem getting GM's to show up while ingame.  The last one was for a bugged inter-instance quest.  We beat the clock and saved the hostage, but the hostage wouldn't finish the quest for us and give us LEWTZ!!1

Of course, the GM just said in effect, "I Cannot Help Thee With That!" after wasting my time for about an hour of stupid troubleshooting and monkeying around (on their end.)

...but he/she showed up.  Hurray?

People are failing to zone into instances. Hit me and my guild last night. We eventually got in, but some battlegrounds are totally borked.

GMs are probably busy as one armed paper hangers.

As of this morning EDT it's a lot better.  I had 5k lag last night, back down to normal snappy behavior this morning.

Witty banter not included.

Everyone's at work/ school.  It's a predictable thing that can be linked directly to school release and the end of the work day.  My non-traditional schedule friends (aka guildies who work at places like Target) have mentioned that performence seems to dip about 3:30-4pm EST.  I noticed it goes right into the shitter (instances crashing, instant abilities taking 2-3 seconds to activate) about 8:30, 8:45 EST.  Coincidence? I think not.

We had this too and nearly wiped several times in a regular instance.  I was getting my quest done to do the heroic version.  By the time we finished the regular run and started the heroic, the latency went back to normal and we played on through no problem.

It did get so bad I would have normally just logged for the night, but we were in the middle of an instance, so...  A few others in the group said they have noticed this happening every night about the same time.  I highly doubt we'd have jumps from 100+ latency to over 2000+ latency in such a tight time slot (approx. 45 minutes?) just based on population.  We all think they are performing some kind of operation on the servers during that time for some unknown reason.

Even with the current server woes, I'm jonesing for a bit of WoW.

I imagine the GM staff is impacted by the fact that a large percentage of the user database is encountering issues and immediately submitting tickets. I'm honestly surprised when people aren't understanding just how popular this game is and what that means when a large problem occurs to things like Customer Service queues and server load issues.

No, no, they are not, not when they are paying for a service, and have come to expect a certain level of service.

It also doesn't help that a large majority of the users have heard at the very least that WoW is very popular and making money-hats for Blizzard at ludicrous speed.  Nevermind the actual math behind it, when people hear the service to which they subscribe is making hundreds of millions of dollars every year, they expect results.  You haven't been in the private sector...
