Don't mock, that's probably better gear than most of my 70's have :D

Nice! I got his helm and sword, but haven't even seen the mount drop yet.

Nice horse - shame about the elf!

I'm guessing that the HH quest is only doable by 70s?

That's one nice looking pony.

I was lucky enough to get a rare mount a few years ago now (the raptor from ZG), but as horde it's almost impossible for me to pose with it as it looks almost exactly like the normal one.  The damage to my e-peen has been quite significant.  why so serious?

There's two Horsemen events. One is a town attack that anyone can do (He's level 11) and then once a day you can summon the HH in the Scarlet Monastery graveyard. That one, he's level 70 and takes a group to kill.

And the 70 version is the one that drops the mount.  awesome, for real

There are two bad things about that horse.  It flies and I do not have it yet.

I know there are two - the putting out fires one is a pain in the arse if no-ones willing to think about it. I tried to do it at Razor Hill but people just ran about asking how to kill the HH rather than put the fires out.  It's the SM Graveyard quest that I'm obviously interested in but I'm not 70 yet - hence the question.

Real life mate of mine got it tonight. Stoked for him, but would be more stoked if I'd gotten it ;)

Saw some pets, bt no luck yet. Also had the helm drop a couple times, one of which there were no plate wearers in the group. That hurt.

4 people?  Me and a guildie regularly kill the bastard with a three person group (the third usually being him dual boxing his wifes priest just to toss heals as an afterthought).  HH is a joke now, considering he was balanced based on the gear curve a full year ago (when Kara gear was uber).

Feral Druid / Ret paladin and we can practically 2 man him.

My rogue got the flying horsie and combat ring saturday, was pretty damn pumped about it.  With my zergling trailing behind, I usually get at least one tell a day asking about how to get this stuff.  Usually I just make shit up, tell them it drops in kurast or whatnot.

Fun event, though maybe slightly too easy...

A guy in my group said he would pay us each 500G not to roll on it.  We said "to hell with that, we're rolling."  I didn't win though.

Yes and no. We're in the UBERZONE right now with the new talents but the old content, so everyone is just running around dominating everything with a chainsaw while sending constant achievement spam through guildchat. It's feelgood candyland right now. They did the same thing right before BC with the PVP gear. I think with the talents as well.

Next year it'll be retuned to WOTLK levels, and so will the Brewfest event.

You can get the quest to fight the level 70 horseman as early as 65.  You probably wouldn't want the MT to be that low, but a 65 healer or DPS would be fine.  Our tank for the fights last night was 68, and there were no problems.

Grats to you!  I keep farming Strath hoping for the Baron's mount.. no luck.

So did anyone else hear that they're going to remove the masks requirement from the Hallow's End achievement title? That was implied in a few "The sinister squashling drops too infrequenly" whines on the WOW forums this morning.

Yeah - you no longer need to get all 20 owing to the limited drop rate so you only need the achievement granted by getting one.

Awesome.  I was averaging 1 mask a DAY over the weekend, when I had ample time to actually log in once an hour and check.  I was going to be pissy.

The reason my character look like a circus threw up on her is that she's still 66.  That's my unique 'still leveling up and replacing gear with crap I find laying on the sidewalk' chique.

AKA "The levelling clownsuit" - a problem so widespread that Blizzard specifically tailored the world drops & quest rewards in WotLK to actually co-ordinate...to a certain degree.

Besides, it's all about the Haliscan suit.  awesome, for real

They've flat out said they could, but won't.  The shoulders are an Iconic part of the sets, which is useful in PvP and for E-peen, so they don't want a way for folks to turn them off.

They had a few sets of quest armor that matched in BC, too.  Diddn't mean anyone wore it because itemization across the set was balls.  (Nagrand quest plate was all the same purple model, and I think Netherstorm quests.. but I never did all of those)

The best my character's ever looked in WoW:

And that's like level 30 gear.  Note the lack of ADD-ish flashing lights, ungodly-huge Warhammer 40K shoulder pads, and weapons bigger than her torso.

That's the "Glyphed" leather set. Get a http://www.wowhead.com/?item=9877 to go with it  Oh ho ho ho. Reallllly?

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=6688 is level appropriate for the set and matches better then the actual glyphed hat, which doesn't match at all.

Too bad, because that might actually break my resolve to not return.

(Revert to 'actual' appearance in their silly battlegrounds.  If someone doesn't want to show their e-peen, then... the e-peens stand out that much more.  Seems win-win.)

Apparently.  My Thrallmar reward shoulders stand WAY out on a mage.  Light green subtle everything else, MASSIVE RED SPIKE shoulder pads.  Lame.

Appearently it wasn't due to the "limited" drop rate (they figured the current drop rate was acceptable to give you a chance at getting all the masks over the holiday), but due to the fact that Draenei and Blood Elf masks don't actually exist in game, so it is impossible to finish the full set.
