Well, from my experience last night, it's everything *in between* the actual playing and level editing. It is constantly trying to update scores and stats on every level, including custom levels, which it is trying to keep up to date. It was pretty bad last night, to the point that just launching a game lagged for almost a minute. But actually *playing* single player was not affected, at least for me.

Yep its just no offline mode for the game total which causes infurating delays. If you so much as play with another friend you cannot lock it out from further updates which causes delays/stutters. Right now I've been waiting 2-3mins for a level to load. As a side note, during design phase a lot of tutorials warp you in and out of the designer which totally screws with load times etc. As for my experiences last night its been way better tonight getting around the menus etc with the exception of this last load.

The servers went live for a few hours last night and holy shit do I love this game when everything is working. It's perhaps the most relaxing/smile-inducing thing I've ever played. I can't wait until I have the opportunity to spend more time with it, especially the editor.

I knew this game would be pretty good, but it exceeds my expectations. No point in describing it at this point, but I'll just say that it's one of those rare titles that is complete on so many fronts. Gameplay, graphics, presentation, options.. I wonder if Media Molecule can ever do this again.. You can tell there was nothing but love put into it. I haven't even played close to the titles released this year, but I don't see how this could not be game of the year material.

Also having a blast with this. It's so well crafted, very funny, great fun solo or multi and even my girlfriend is enjoying it. There's some incredible user-made levels too - check out Little Dead Space, hilarious. Oh, and look for Tic Tac Toe - someone's made a Turing machine within the game that plays Tic Tac Toe! It's frankly amazing and makes me think of The Diamond Age

I bought this for my nephew. Unfortunately, the day after Xmas he went home, sick with a tummy bug, and found his P3 not working. He received several P3 games for Xmas, too, but he and his girlfriend (who is the most awesome girl in the entire world) really wanted to play with this one. Luckily, his P3 is still under warranty. Still, though, to be home sick and have a pile of games and can't play with them. I would be so pissy to everyone in the world!

I'd be pissy if my PS3 lost a letter also.
