This is a 1974 Italian zombie film by Spanish director Jorge Grau but the film is more commonly known as "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie". Or "The Living Dead at the Manchester Morgue". Or "Zombi 3". Or any of the seemingly hundreds of titles it's known by.
The story is simple. A man and a woman go to a small rural village and find that it's being invaded by zombies. There's a little more to it than that but basically, it's Night of The Living Dead in rural England. The acting is truly appalling (with Italian actors standing in for English bobbies and badly dubbed Ray Lovelock playing the lead role) but the film has a certain charm and more than a little atmosphere. If you're into zombie films then you really should watch this as it's definitely a part of zombie movie history. Yes it's crap but it's crap in a good way.
A point can be MOOT. MUTE is more along the lines of what you should be. - WayAbvPar
