I am considering getting a 2nd acct, and setting up a char to mfg Ogre II's, or some other useful stuff. What starting stats are best? What should my long-range plan look like? And, is it worth it? I'm just tossing this out to see if it is feasable to do. I tried to set up a plan using EveMon, but don't even know what skills I need, nor where to find out. Point me in the right direction please.

There is a public article about setting up a manufacturing alt on the goonwiki. But I can't find it.

We have people here that do a lot of manufacturing so I'm sure they can give you some tips once they see this. I THINK you need a POS setup to do manufacturing of any T2 items.

Most of the pages on the GF wiki that I can find are hidden from public view, but this one is a good start, and is public. We have people here that do a lot of manufacturing so I'm sure they can give you some tips once they see this. I THINK you need a POS setup to do manufacturing of any T2 items.
What you'll want to make T2 stuff is a POS with an Advanced Mobile Laboratory, or a station with spare lab slots. Going by the (private, I'm afraid) GF wiki page on invention, you'll also need a T1 BPC of what you're going to build from (eg stabber BPC to make a vagabond BPC), a data interface, some datacores and some electronics and science skills. Decryptors help by improving the results, since invention has a varying range of results, which are chance-based, from complete failure through to multiple copies. The base chance of success for a T2 battleship is 20%, for instance, while an interdictor is 30%. Basically you want an alt that maxes out intelligence and memory, and which has as many industry skills as possible already, which the above article will help with.

To do the actual invention of Ogre IIs, you'll need a lot of skills: Science 5 Electronics 5 Mechanic 5 Electronics Upgrades 5 Hacking 2 Gallente Encryption Methods 1 (but you want at least 3) Electronic Engineering 1 (but you want at least 3) Mechanical Engineering 1 (but you want at least 3)
You'll also need an Incognito Data Interface, Electronic Eng Datacores, and Mechanical Eng Datacores. You only need one Interface but you'll need a steady supply of datacores which you can buy off the market or you can earn them from an R&D agent (need a high enough standing from the agent's corp).
For production, you need Production Efficiency 5 (which requires Industry 3). Anything less and you're wasting materials and won't be able to compete with other industrialists.
Unfortunately I think most public research slots of booked for weeks in advance to so almost need to have access to a POS with labs.
