Hi guys,

Longtime MMO player, EQ, asherons call (miss that one), AO, UO, and currently WoW (don't poke fun plox). Now I'm giving eve a shot, looking for a more persistent sort of gameplay in an MMO, which doesn't require weeks of learning boss encounters just to wind up farming that content over and over again to move on to the next. but enough of my gripes.

I've been pretty impressed with the player base and support of eve, perhaps not so surprising considering how overwhelming it can be for a new player. This brings me to here, was asking around in the rookie channel about some random questions, and was directed to amassed information thrown together on a thread here. Thumbs up on that, I've now rerolled, and hope to focus a little more on skills that will help me, instead of spreading myself too thin right off the bat.

Just wanted to say thanks, now im glad i dont have to watch videos on youtube that are outdated/misleading.

I sent him here, he's probably a spy, but I think we should give him a shot, he's already game for moving directly to Venal!  awesome, for real

The important thing to remember is that everyone in Bat Country started out as a spy.  It's the one thing we all have in common!  awesome, for real

The best cover story that you could come up with was that you took up Eve to get away from Wow's steep learning curve?

Man, I'm going to speak to Stoffer about this: it's like he's not even trying any more.

I've finished the content for the current xpac, so spamming left click to heal well over 1,000 times a night does get a bit boring. It's like going to work a second time :P

Look, I'm not part of the Eve crew here. And some people probably expect this post, but uhhhh.....

You don't want to go to work a second time and you chose to play Eve?
