Has anyone been able to get their client to fire all the way up? Mine crashes right after getting to the point where I hit PLAY (I *was* able to patch) and this doesn't match the behavior when I fired it up on the Tuesday after preview weekend, where it went all the way to the 'pick your server' point and just couldn't find any.
Would be nice to know now if I need to reinstall, or if the patch I just downloaded has a time bomb in it that won't even let the thing fire up until preview time starts.

Sunday is the start of Open Beta, where everyone who preordered gets access. Right now its Preview Weekend, so only people who got in in the last preview weekend are able to play. Seems to me like they wanted to stress the servers a bit more before opening the floodgates. |

No that this has hit the non-elder. My CTD has been much lower. But there are some glaring bugs (scenario respawn delays,Untargetable mobs). And the slop timer is a queue, its better but .3sec isn't enough. The UI changes are pretty good.
