So wtf is new? Give me a rundown plz. Haven't played anything since GTA. I logged in yesterday hoping Home would be out by now and shit, but no dice.  I want to play something unique or story heavy, but not sure where to go. |

Then by all mean, MGS4. It has loads and loads and loads of faults, and yet it's still a masterpiece somehow. Others have touted Uncharted: Drake's Fortune as an interesting and different kind of game, but I couldn't get into it.

Seems to me at the moment most of the PS3 games are more arcady in style (light on story), but fun.
for story you got MGS4, battlefield bad company (short though), and a bunch of older games (all short too).
Story wise, coming out should be white knight (rpg) and resistance 2.

Siren is new, download only. I'm done with Ratchet & Clank and Folklore, mostly done with Uncharted, which leaves Disgaea 3. That game is screwed up in delightful ways.

I just picked up Resistance:Fall of Man for $30 this weekend (its a classic now, yay). Fun game, somewhat of a story even.

Lots of games have been reduced to $30-$20 which is keeping me playing. Burnout was decent purchase and they keep adding content. Picked up Blazing Angels 2 for $20... basically a drought to force unleashed next week or LBP next month.

Honestly, i never understood the hype behind home. Its kind of a cool concept, but not a big deal imho. I could take or leave a graphical interface for my pregame lobby.
for this year the games i'm actually looking forward to are pretty limited:
LBP
Resistance 2
Super Street Fighter 2 HD
Wipeout HD
I think that's it.

Uncharted is still good for a full once-through. Siren is pretty cool if not really hard compared to any other horror game.

Played Uncharted and most stuff up to it. My favorite PS3 game so far. Just been sort of on hiatus since summer started.
