Apologies for the necro, and taking the risk of boring you all over again, this is supposed to be "a RL meeting with Chribba".  Found it in the EVE general discussion board of course.  I'm going for a Himo kind of reputation.

If CCP decides to make a movie...

-You'd pay $10 every hour;
-The theatre would shut down once every hour for maintenance;
-The framerate on their projector would decline in relation to the number of people watching;
-In a packed theatre the movie will freeze on the opening credits for an hour or two, and then you'd suddenly find yourself waking up at home the next morning having absolutely no recollection of what just happened;
-Every so often people will run into the theatre and stab random movie-goers before being gunned down by police while an accomplice rushes to the body and steals jewelery, wallets, pocket money etc and get away with it and the murderer will be reimbursed for the cost of the knife;
-1/4 of the people watching the movie will whine incessantly about how much they hate the movie, but never leave;
-The other 3/4 will ask the whiners if they can have their popcorn and drinks and candy;
-Rockets will still be broken;
-There will be an obnoxiously loud split-second pulse of tornado noises between every scene;
-When questioned about these issues, theatre staff will insist their logs show nothing out of the ordinary.

After seven months and seven hundred cans of red-bull, I can finally show you guys what happens when you put New Eden, the Unreal 3 Engine and large quantities of caffeine into a blender.

This was my first jump into the Unreal 3 Engine, as well as my first for a fair few programs. It all began as a University project to show the progression of cinematics within game engines.

My love for the EVE Universe and writing EVE fiction were the real inspiration for this Machinima. This meant that the film was not going to portray a world ruled by game mechanics, but rather an alternate reality of EVE that I use when I write fiction.

Huge thanks to Kyoko Sakoda for his utter genius and support during this project, as well as everyone who helped me with this, whether it was inspiration, motivation, or ensuring I was well fed during its development.
